MOSAIC EKP Knowledge Portal - Brighton
MOSAIC is the only resource which exists in Brighton & Hove and Sussex to combat racism specifically within the mixed-parentage community.
MOSAIC is a strong grassroots local support organisation which has developed & sustained its services for over 20 years. MOSAIC is user-led and volunteers are critical to the delivery of existing & new services.
They provide a wide range of services which include:
- Bring-A-Dish monthly event
- Under 5's group
- Cric! Crac! Storytelling
- Advocacy in Education
- Training in parenting
- Quarterly Newsletter used by Voluntary & Community Organisations (VCOs) and SA to promote job opportunities, events and information relevant to MOSAIC membership.
- Resource boxes
- Anti-racist Resource Library with more than 1,000 multicultural books
- Family orientated outings and creative workshops aimed at supporting children's and young people's development of positive cultural identity
