Discovery Museum - Newcastle upon Tyne, North East

Discovery is a free museum where the exhibits are about life in Tyneside. From the area's renowned maritime history, including Turbinia once the world's fastest and the first steam-turbine powered ship, to world-changing science and technology, it has something for everyone. The museum also hosts interactive displays, entry is free.

Freightliners Farm - Islington (North London)

Freightliners is a small farm in Islington for local individuals and groups to learn from and interact with the environment and each other through animal care, horticulture and sustainable practices. It's purpose is to provide fun and learning for all. There are pigs and goats, lambs, honey bees and chicks, as well as gardens with fruit trees and herbs.

Friendship Centre - Southsea, Portsmouth

The Portsmouth Friendship Centre is all about understanding and respecting cultural diversity across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. The centre is a place where people from all cultural backgrounds can meet to learn about others, share beliefs and celebrate diversity. Throughout the year they organise many different projects and events for the whole community to get involved with. They welcome people from all different backgrounds and cultures and do not discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.

Grassroots - Luton

Grassroots has been in Luton, running ecumenical, educational and inter faith programmes, working alongside churches in their mission and ministry, supporting community initiatives, and providing interfaith work to build a plural society in Luton and around the UK. Grassroots works in partnership with Churches Together in Luton, the Bury Park Beech Hill Council of Churches, Luton Council of Faiths and Ghar se Ghar (Hindi/Urdu words for ‘Home to Home’ - a Women’s Co-operative). Greenway Community Centre - Sneinton

A community venue with a number of regular and ad hoc activities, including: Job shop board Education and training courses to help people back to work ESOL classes (English for Speakers of Other Languages) FUEL (trades, building and construction training) Evening activities for young people (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings) SEND project sessions This centre also has workers who speak various Asian languages.

Grimsbury Farm - South Gloucestershire

A variety of animals as well as a picnic site, orchard and children's play area. It's a great opportunity for children and adults to see horses, cows, sheep, donkeys, pygmy goats, chickens, ducks, pot-bellied pigs, exotic birds and rabbits. In season: lambs, kids, ducklings and calves too.

Hackney Quest - Hackney

Hackney Quest aims to develop the potential of young people and support their families. Positive Youth Engagement Programme (PYEP) - This programme supports over 200 young people aged 8-19 from all over Hackney - arts, social and creative activities, training and networking opportunities.
