Men Against Violence (MAV) - Preston

Men Against Violence is a men's campaign to end violence against women. They do this by educating men & boys on these issues, challenging attitudes and by encouraging good men to act as positive male role models. Violence against women includes domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, sexual exploitation and forced marriage. They are also interested in raising other issues such as violence against men, abuse in gay relationships and homophobic bullying.

Mental Health Action Group Sheffield (MHAGS)

MHAGS offers a cheerful and respectful environment for those who have, or have had previously experienced mental health problems. The drop-in supports people who are experiencing or have experienced mental health problems, aged 18 years and over. The group offers a safe environment for members to come and meet others for support, a chat and friendship. There is always someone available to help with a problem or refer you to an appropriate organisation or service if necessary. The lounge offers seating, pool table and acitivity space. The kitchen offers subsidised meals from £2.50 between 12noon and 2pm. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are available all day. Social and recreational activities include:• arts and crafts• pool• board games• day trips There is now a dedicated internet café where internet is available for 20p per hour with printing available

Merlin Venture Ltd - Birmingham

Merlin Venture is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose main aim is to minimise local unemployment. The services include Merlin JETS; a group of Employment and Training Advisors and Job Coaches who can help you look for work or training. Whatever your experience level, they can help; from job search, CV writing and application advice, all the way through to practice interviews and even work trials. They can take you every step of the way into a new job. They also work with businesses providing a free recruitment service, where we can even provide training for new staff.

A statutory service offering confidential and impartial information, advice and support. The service supports children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs and/or disabilities as well as their parents/carers. We offer information and a range of resources about the law on special educational needs and disability. The service provides Independent Support and advice to children and young people with SEN and/or disabilities and their parents/carers on the transition to Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans.

Milton Keynes Women & Work Group

Milton Keynes Women & Work Group provides a range of services, which are aimed at unemployed women and women in low paid/low skilled jobs, who want to gain or update skills through further education or training to better their work chances. The services offered range from courses in employment skills to self -confidence and conversation.
