Open Door's Parenting Teenagers Project - Haringey (North London)

Open Door is a charity based in Haringey, North London. We started in 1976 as a young people's counselling service. We added the Parenting Teenagers Project in 2000 because many young people in difficulty do not accept when they have a problem or do not want to talk to a professional about it. We are an experienced team of child and adolescent psychotherapists and we are interested in helping parents of adolescents (aged 12 to 21) who have any worries about their teenagers problems.

Scotswood Family Drug Support Group was set up in the Scotswood area of Newcastle in 1997 as a result of local women’s concerns regarding the need in their community for support for parents and partners of alcohol and drug misusers. Newcastle P.R.O.P.S provides such services as: one-to-one support, counselling, drug awareness training, a confidential out-of-hours helpline and, where appropriate, respite breaks in our own caravan.

Parent Abuse and Reconciliation Service - North London

Parent Abuse and Reconciliation Service (PAARS) is an organisation which supports parents who are being physically, emotionally or financially abused by their adolescent child. We aim to rebuild family relationships which in turn will benefit all family members. We aim to work with parents or any adult that has parental responsibility for the adolescent child. PAARS will be taking in referrals from Enfield and will also take some referrals from the North London area. All services will be free for service users.
