Bristol Health Trainers provide support to the people and communities living in Bristol so that they are able to get what they need to improve their health. A key element of their work is to encourage people to adopt healthier lifestyles based on having a healthy diet and being physically active. Bristol Mind

Bristol Mind works raise awareness about emotional and mental health issues, and helps to reduce the stigma faced by individuals who have experienced mental health problems, and their family and friends. They provide or support a range of services that give people a voice and that promote emotional well being. Also provided is information about emotional and mental health issues.

Bristol Playbus

Bristol Playbus started as puppet touring group and slowly evolved into a play and family project. Our services have adapted over the years to be able to offer a range of opportunities to children and their families who live in isolated or disadvantaged communities. We are currently providing a wide range of play and childcare services in partnership with other agencies to children, young people and their families in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. Bristol Samaritans

Bristol Samaritans provide completely confidential emotional support 24 hours a day by phone, face-to-face, email and letter and allow callers to talk openly about their worries and concerns without fear of being judged. People call on issues such as relationships, sex, love, divorce, debt, being gay, lesbian or heterosexual as well as many other issues causing the caller distress or despair.

Brixham Youth Enquiry Service Ltd

Brixham Youth Enquiry Service is open Monday to Friday 9.30am-6.00pm for information, advice and support and also runs a number of projects and events during the evenings and weekends. The project offers free confidential, non-judgemental information, advice and support to young people in a welcoming and informal atmosphere.

Broxtowe Youth Homelessness - Nottingham

Broxtowe Youth Homelessness is charity concerned with youth homelessness. They have been operating for 25 years, originally providing emergency accommodation for young people that had become homeless in the Broxtowe borough, and then taking a different direction into prevention work. They visit schools, youth groups and colleges around the Broxtowe borough and the surrounding areas and explore the issues of homelessness, aiming to prevent young people from becoming homeless and inform young people of their options and provide emergency assistance if they do become homeless.

C.A.S.Y (Counselling and Support for Young People)

CASY (Counselling and Support for Young People) offers a confidential counselling and support to young people aged 6 to 24 within the Newark and Sherwood and Bassetlaw Districts of North Nottinghamshire and also in Lincolnshire. The service offers young people an opportunity to speak to a trained counsellor in confidence about any issue of importance to them. Counselling sessions may end after just a few sessions, or may continue over many months.
