Windhill Furniture Service - Windhill, Shipley

We are a not for profit organisation that collect furniture donated to us by people in the local areas. This furniture is put on sale in our shop. Anyone can use our shop and those who can provide proof that they are on income related benefits will be entitled to get a 20% discount off furniture over £20. The aims of the project are to stop reusable furniture from going to landfill, provide good quality low cost furniture for those on low income and have volunteering opportunities within the local community.

Women's Health Advice Centre (W.H.A.C) - Northumberland, North East

Women's Health Advice Centre (W.H.A.C.) provides services relating to the health and well being of women, men and young people 14+ in Northumberland. The services are delivered by trained volunteers who are supported by paid staff. A Health Trainer, employed by the NHS, is also based at the centre to offer help and advice on lifestyle issues. They also have information, directories and leaflets from other organisations both locally and out of the area.
