The Churn Project - Cirencester

The Churn Project is a community-based service for Watermoor, Beeches and Cheston in Cirencester. They provide a range of services for the unemployed, older people, children and families, and encourage community participation. The project runs small group courses at an entry level, providing basic confidence-building, communication and basic skills training. The courses for women are craft based.

The Clivey - Swindon

The Clivey Project was started in late 2001 by local Pinehurst residents and church officials to tackle increasingly anti-social behavior by local young people. The Clivey Project works with any young person from the age of 8 to 19yrs. Tomorrow's People - Bristol

Tomorrow's People connect jobseekers, employers and government programmes in order to make sure local labour markets work efficiently. They work with society's most disadvantaged and marginalised adults and young people, who are often overlooked by other agencies. The clients include long-term unemployed people, those on sickness or incapacity benefits, entire families where generations have never worked, prisoners, people with drug or alcohol problems and young people from deprived backgrounds.
