Amber Trust is a well established social care charity specialising in offering accommodation and support services to adults with mental ill health or those who are at risk of social exclusion. Their mission is to promote health, wellbeing and recovery for all our service users by recognising and meeting their individual needs and empowering them to take positive steps in their life journey.
Provides services for minority ethnic communities in the inner city of Derby. Services include: general help with welfare rights, immigration, health, debt, housing and education. Has a drop in centre, arranges cultural events and social trips. Also has a volunteering project and after school project which provides support to parents and children in homework.
Broxtowe Youth Homelessness is charity concerned with youth homelessness. They have been operating for 25 years, originally providing emergency accommodation for young people that had become homeless in the Broxtowe borough, and then taking a different direction into prevention work. They visit schools, youth groups and colleges around the Broxtowe borough and the surrounding areas and explore the issues of homelessness, aiming to prevent young people from becoming homeless and inform young people of their options and provide emergency assistance if they do become homeless.
CASY (Counselling and Support for Young People) offers a confidential counselling and support to young people aged 6 to 24 within the Newark and Sherwood and Bassetlaw Districts of North Nottinghamshire and also in Lincolnshire. The service offers young people an opportunity to speak to a trained counsellor in confidence about any issue of importance to them. Counselling sessions may end after just a few sessions, or may continue over many months.

Corby VCS (Voulntary and Community Services) are the Corby and District local infrastructure organisation, supporting and helping to sustain local voluntary and community based organisations, and assist local vulnerable and excluded people. Corby VCS will: Provide advice and support to people wishing to volunteer. Provide a centre to promote volunteering and community involvement, which will include training. Advise and support community organisations, which involve volunteers in their charitable activities.

Derby Women's Centre is a resource for all women, over 18, in and around Derbyshire. It aims to improve the quality of life for women in the area. Services include mediation & relaxation, self help and coffee morning drop in groups, new mum's group, individual therapies, legal advice on divorce and injunctions, numerous health projects including family planning and on site creche.
