Direct Help and Advice - Derby

DHA provides Direct Help via specialist advice, advocacy and representation for families and individuals facing crisis, to prevent and alleviate homelessness, debt and housing difficulty. They provide effective, specialist advice; advocacy and representation for people that would otherwise not be able to access these services. They secure their basic needs, protect and preserve their legal rights, provide equal access to Justice and seek fairness and dignity for all our clients.

Eva organisation for Women - Leicester

Eva Organization for Women (EOW) is based in Leicester. EOW is driven to empower, encourage, motivate and support women and their families from all walks of life to have a positive impact on the world in which they live. EOW is driven to provide support and also involvement in a variety of events and campaigns to improve lives of individuals both in the UK and other parts of the world.

FAME (Nottinghamshire Children and Families Mediation Service)

FAME helps parents or relatives make decisions and settle disputes arising from the breakdown of their relationship which affects children. With mediation parents can work with the help of mediators to reach agreement on how to divide their assets and liabilities whilst concentrating on the future of their children. The first meeting with a mediator is free, Services are then offered on a sliding scale according to income.

Freeva - Leicester

Free-VA is a registered charity based in Leicester, working towards reducing domestic violence, rape and sexual assault. Formerly known as Domestic Violence Integrated Response Project (DVIRP), not too long ago the charity took a big step and decided to rebrand and come out with a new name and logo that would be easier to understand and remember. We provide specialist support and information to anyone affected by domestic violence, rape and sexual assault - we work closely with other agencies to ensure the right support is in place for you.

Horncastle Children's Centre

Provides various sessions for children aged 0-5years and their parents, including: Drama, Messy play, Story time, Themed craft, Movement to music, Baby massage, Baby weaning, Behaviour management, Breastfeeding groups, and Baby clinic. Also hold events throughout the year which include: Summer parties, Children in Need fundraising, Christmas parties, bonfire night, Easter activities and Bookstart events. Open: Monday-Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm.

Indian community Centre - Derby

Provides facilities and support for the Indian (Asian) community . To provide good relations between different communities in Derby. Services include: Welfare rights advice, luncheon club for men and women, hall hire for parties, wedding parties, dance, keep fit classes, karate classes, religious and cultural celebrations. Jasmine House, Leicester Rape Crisis

Jasmine House Leicester Rape Crisis offers support to all women, aged 14 and over, in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, who have experienced rape or sexual assault, recently or in the past, or suffered childhood sexual abuse. We offer telephone support, face to face support and face to face counselling.
