i have been on my own with my daughter now for 5 years she suffers with agrophobia and is not getting any support she needs is there any where in Yorkshire ?

My daughter and i need some help regarding her agrophobia she is nearly 18 and the help we've had has been limeted it's very frustrating getting help.

Hi mark and welcome to One Space, I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with this on your own.

I do not know of anything appropriate in Yorkshire, but you could get in touch with Young Minds (click) they have a Parents Helpline and you could have a chat with them, they may know more.

I am wondering if your daughter would be interested in having a look at their site too? There is a Personal Story from a young woman who experienced agoraphobia and how she learned to cope.

Is your daughter still in education?
