:( put the monster to bed as normal 7:30pm (holiday times! hehe) and then at 10:20 i hear this high pitched squeeky cry, go runnin up stairs cuz never heard that sort of cry from my boy before ... open the door and UGH :( not good he's been sick every where :(
take him down to shower him off and everything and now a whole hr later he's still goin for it and he's sat down here next to me looking rather sorry for him self :( Thing is he's not been poorly at all today! so don't really understand why just now he's thrown up ... guess thats kids for ya!
Ah well looks like i'm in for a long night! were sat on the settee watching The Snow Man! (only decent thing on tv that he can watch is the stuff i'v recorded over xmas!)

I duno if it's a bug he's got or if his tea has just disagreed with him! (as it was his tea i saw again! (not that you needed to know that! lol)) I'm just hopin that it is just his tea and now it's out he's goin to be ok! we were meant to be goin to the Zoo tomorrow, but if he's still being iccy then we wont be able to go :(
Oh dear, I`ll bet he`s looking forward to the zoo tomorrow as well, lets hope its excitement thats made him poorly and that he will be fine in the morning xxx
that's what i was like when i was little!!! didn't get to do any thing at school cuz i'd get to excited bout it and i was ill! lol
he's taken him self on the floor (for some odd reason!) and just lyin there he's had 2 mouth fulls of water and he's got tummy ache :(
would it help if i gave him some calpol???
Awwh bless him, do keep a close eye on him overnight, these bugs are nasty and do make little one feel dreadful, is your little boy normally well, mine very rarely gets a bug but when he does you know about it. Had him at the dentist today, he was so brave, needed a tooth out and I refuse to allow a general anaesthetic as I used to be a dental nurse years ago and could tell some horror stories about people being put to sleep, they dont allow dentists to do it now but still dont believe in being put to sleep unless it is absolutely essential, so he had 3 injections as it was difficult to numb but he was as good as gold and is probably still awake now waiting for the tooth fairy xxx
Calpol is my fav, cant see it would hurt to give him a little, have you checked his temperature xxx
Is he responsive to you when you ask him something, I know its late and he will be sleepy but is he still responding to you when you talk to him? If you can, check his temperature, if you havent got a thermometer check his hands and feet are they cold? If they are then he probably has a temp, sounds odd I know but that the way I check if I cant find thermometer xxx
If you are worried do you have a primary care centre that you can call for advice, we do here but not sure that everywhere has, if not nhs direct is good but only good if you can get through to them, my experience has been that it can take hours for someone to call you back but that might not be the case where you are. xxx
yeh he's usely well, if he get s a cold he usely shakes it off 2 days later! (well passes it on to someone else! haha) he's made it all the way thru his first term at school with not having a day off for being ill so he's pretty ok with bugs and things! just this one that's got him! at the begining of the week he did have a cold so i just duno!
he dosent seem to have a temp or anything cuz 9 times out of 10 when he's got a temp his hands are boiling hot!! and there not so i know he's not got a temp at mo! well figured it's a not keep anything down sickness he's got :( he's had 2 mouth fulls of his drink and 10 mins later it's in the toilet! :(
Oh dear, sounds like a bug doesnt it, a long night ahead for you, its horrible when they are poorly isnt it, you want to just make them all better, at least if he can manage sips of water it wont hurt so much if he is sick again xxx
Have any of his friends had a bug recently that they might have passed on?

not that i know off! but could of got it from any where really! went soft play yesterday where there could of been any number of kids that have just got over it and passed it on and the such! so he could of just picked it up! grr!
i'm hopin he'll flake out soon on the settee then at least i can get some shut eye too! least for a few hr if not the whole night! might leave Zoo till saturday if he's still goin thru the night :(
Yes you could be right about him picking it up from the soft play lots of children there, do hope he gets some sleep and you too!!!!!!!
Make sure you have a couple of towels on the floor and a bowl or bucket, always saves having to try to run to the toilet.
I am going to go and try to get some sleep now, have doctors appt in morning so need to be rested, dont want to look poorly when I go lol.

Please let me know how he is tomorrow, or rather today, the zoo might be more enjoyable on Sat as you will both be tired today xxx

aww bless ya xxx i'm goin to switch off soon just got radio on telly so not too bad now! goin to switch little light on and main one off so goin to be relaxing ... not got a bowl or bucket at the moment! we thought about it last time he was sick but forgot to get one! .. have to see what can find!!!!

Hello hatz, hope you have not had too bad a night and your little one is brighter this morning. My eldest often used to be sick with excitement when he was little. I guess you will know by now whether it is a bug i.e. if he was sick again

(Yawn) is it morning all ready????????????? i'm shattered!!!! we fell asleep on the settee till 2am but i woke up with really bad cramp so i had to get up and then he woke up so i said come on lets go up to bed!!!! he's not been sick since that point but he's not really eatten or drank so time will tell now as he's just had 1/4 slice of toast and drinking a glass of water!!!
i'm sooooooooooooo TIRED not had such a non sleep night in ages!!!! just got to see if he keeps this lot stays down, he still wants to go to the zoo so i said we shall see what he's like in the next hr as bus leaves at 10:58 so just goin to see.... may be some fresh air will be good for him!? blow it out his systum!!!!
Could you not tell him the zoo is shut, but you can go tomorrow hatz. You'll both be worn out by the end of the day. Hope he keeps the toast down. I do know that in schools, if a child has been sick, they say not to take them back for 48 hours, as they could still spread it. Just thinking of all those passengers that could end up with it, not forgetting you of course!!
he knows that if he's not better today then we can go tomorrow! (he also knows that the zoo is only shut on christmas day!!!! haha)
well he's kept the toast, water and calpol down and his temp's dropped to his normal temp so all looking good now!
just got to see how he gose now and what we end up doin! lol but yeh don't think we'll make it to the zoo today just see how he is!! i kinda want him to eat a bit more than then 1/4 slice of toast he's eaten but then i don't want to push it either!!
i'm goin to have to get goin now, the iccy boy want's a cuppa!!! must be feelin little bit better! lol will be back laters x

Hi Marsman i'v receved SOOOOOOOOOOO much support in ALL my posts (the one's i'v just been chatting in to the ones where i really have needed help, and to last nights lovely iccy boy!) i'v never really felt supported by any one including (at times) my own parents so finding this site by accedent couple months back has really helped me to get my head on a straight path! :D Thanks guys :)
well my sonny boy hasn't been iccy since last night (altho my step dad did say he was retching all night :s i didn't hear it and he was in my bed! hehe! oops!) but we made it thru to the morning! we slept on the settee till 2am and i woke up with really bad cramp so as i moved my son woke up and i said come on let's get in to bed! :) so we went up and slept till 7 (he slept till 7:20!) i was kinda expectin us both to sleep till a lot later than that but we seemed to have both woken up with bright heads on us! lol
so today we'v taken it easy popped in to town and got a few bits and came back home again really! and he's not been too bad altho it got to 2:30 and he crashed :( you could see it in his eyes went from being his self to being a very poorly boy again :( wasn't iccy or anything but did go hot so i got the calpol out which took the edge of it but he's not been happy since that point!
he's had the 1/4 slice of toast for brekky, 1/4 cheese sandwhich, yog, 3 bites of an apple, lil pack of crisps and 1/4 pint of milk for dinner and 1/2 can of custard for tea! :D endless drinks cuz that's the most important thing really when he's ill! so he's just snacked really! and i'v really just given him what he's wanted and not an actual meal! and hopefully he'll be better for monday when were all back to school! :) hehe! (really need to sleep before then tho! haha!!!)
i'v woken up with a lovely sore tonsle!!! which usely leads to a sore throat for about 3 weeks! so just got to make sure am stocked up on throat sweets again! lol (dr's wont take them out (tonsle's that is!!) cuz there not causing me too much problems! even tho he did say they are larger than normal!)
well i'm goin to head off for a bit ... for some odd reason i'm REALLY tired today! lol was kinda wake till 1 then again at 2 and up at 7 not done that since i was at college when i couldn't and didn't sleep more than an hr a night! (college told me it wasn't normal and told me to go drs! haha! i honestly thought it was!!!)

my throat is a lot better now .... just wish this cold would shift and i'v only had it since i woke up! UGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! haha! typical ay teach children to share just not what to keep to them selfs! haha AT LEAST IT'S NOT THE SICKNESS!!!!!!!!!!!
other than that had a really good night sleep woke up with my son in my bed don't know when he came in so couldn't have been cryin or anything just came in and joined me! lol but i slept till 8 and lil monster woke about 8:30 :D so VERY rested now! WHOOP WHOOP! fell better for it (other than having this cold!)
i'v put Zoo on hold till next week after my birthday hehe! just to make sure we both over colds and iccy's! lol but least were kinda ok today and hopefully he shall be a lot better for school on monday! he's still not eating 100% so just givin him bits here and there so least he's geting something inside him! and maybe tomorrow we'll be able to get him to eat a propper little meal! :D
were getting there with his eating again :) really pleased! today he ate about 1/2 his dinner at school and for tea he had jacket pot with a tomarto and 8 slices of cucumber and a triangle cheese!! and he at all but 1/2 his jacket pot! :) so it's all picking up really well now, he woke up not long back and as well as needin the loo he said he was really hungry so gave him 2 extra biscuits to settle his tummy back down! :)
all's gone well with his first day back at school and my first day back at work! lol had a few kids tryin it on but nothing too bad!!! lol

C went back to school today, so having a quiet one. Back to volunteering at school tomorrow morning. Doesn't take long to settle back into the routine of things does it? Hope you both have another good day. Take care.
well had a good day again today :) the kids seemd to be a lot more hyper than yesterday tho! haha!!!!
couldn't beleive things this morning! get up just before my alarm and got us both brekky, mum went off swimming and i finished off monster's dinner and packed, looked at the clock and was like rihgt time to go! so tell my son to get his shoes on, i got mine on and we got our coats on, then head off out! part way up the estate i was wondering why there was no one else around walking up but just put it down to being a few mins early so people hadn't got as far as us yet! .... get to the top of the estate and still no one round so was thinking ok maybe a bit more earlier than thought ..... get my phone out and look at the time .... it was ONLY 7:44 :O OMW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a whole hr early! :O hahahahahaha!!!! so i looked at my son and said look at the time and he said it's 7 mummy i said yup!!! were like VERY VERY VERY early! haha
so i was then like shall i look like an idiot and walk back down the estate and home??? or shall we go on in to town! .. so we ended up in town, did my shopping (that i was goin to do after i dropped him off at school) and at 8:30 jumpped on the bus that gose past the top of the school lane! and walk down to school!!!!!!!!!!
i still cant work out how in half hr i'd managed to get up, fed, dressed, lunch box sorted, shoes and coats on. when we struggle when it's the hr later! haha!!!!! but there we go! was funny moment and made the lolly pop lady laugh when she saw us getting off the bus!!!!!!!
Oh that made me smile, better than being an hour late I suppose and at first I was wondering if the other children had a day off!

oh it's been better today!!! i got up made my son his breakfast and then said i was goin to go get dressed and layed on my bed for 20 mins! hehe! shortly after that my son came and joined me!!! so i deffently didn't leave the house early today! haha!!was nice just to lie back down on my bed! lol had made my son's dinner box up last night so didn't need to do that! his uniform was dryin in the dryer so he couldn't get dressed till that was done! and other than that we just had to get coats and shoes on! lol so had a little relax!
popped in to town and met up with a few mates today which was good to have a cuppa with them and now it's nearly time to head up to work so goin to have to log off now!

Hi hatz. Good thing you didn't fall back to sleep this morning. I would have if I'd laid back down lol. I was the opposite of you this morning. We were running late. Half way to school, I started to wonder if I'd left the grill on!! Gave one of the Mums my keys and asked her to check for me on her way home. Thankfully I hadn't. Phew, that was a relief. Hope you're having a good day.
that was lucky then! and good that you managed to catch a mum that is able to do that!! if i gave any one keys round here i'd never see them again!!!
just had such an exsausting dinner time at work, all the kids seemed to be on hyper mood today but there we go! all over with and now eating left overs from last night! haha along with a nice cup tea!!!
