Ok so at the risk of making you all go AAAAGH and pull the divets over your heads.

There are now less than 100 days to go until Christmas and I have a couple of things to highlight for you

The first is...if you are shopping online, there is a great comparison tool here to get the best deal

The second is some money-saving info for everything from prezzies to food, and thinking about it now will definitely save you cash, here.

Phew, I was a bit worried that everyone would think it was too early but in truth, spreading the cost means starting early, I reckon Wink

I've had some marvelous things over the years for my lot, second hand.

Having four winter babies (December birthday, January birthday and two three days apart in February - all planned, so I could recycle the clothes!!) meant that I shopped all year round, and had a Christmas club in the local toy shop.

I've always limited myself though to a budget.  Any big gifts like an itouch, I give them £30 towards it, and then they put any other gift money they have towards it.

The younger two have been planning the decorations since the end of July - when we had that heatwave!

Thank you for the links.  MSE is such a handy site.

Yes it is, I really like it.

I have got quite a bit of stuff already but only really for that friend where we collect weird bits and bobs for each other throughout the year then have a Santa Sack day together, I tell my boys not to get me anything though eldest normally finds something, I don't get any presents myself otherwise.

My "best year" was when I visited a brilliant Jumble Sale one November and got stuff for pence which eldest loved. It is easier to do this when they are little though!!!
