I thought we could have a fun thread for over the holidays to check into. I will post corny jokes on here and one or two interesting and fun things to have a look at.

First a little quote for you:

It's true, Christmas can feel like a lot of work, particularly for mothers. But when you look back on all the Christmases in your life, you'll find you've created family traditions and lasting memories. Those memories, good and bad, are really what help to keep a family together over the long haul.
Caroline Kennedy

Ok, so you can put your hankies away and groan at these terrible jokes:

What do you call Frosty the Snowman in May? A puddle.

What do you get if you cross a snowman with a vampire? Frostbite

What do you get if you cross a duck and some holly? A Christmas Quacker

Brilliant!

I'm wondering how many got a battery powered tin opener (ok, an essential now for me, due to bad hands)!!  And, lovingly presented along with After eights in a Tesco bag? Cool

That's an erm... interesting gift combination, sparkling! (I'm sure the tin opener will come in useful once you've worked out how to use it Smile)

Well I've had a lovely New Year...

My very almost 18 year old worked out how to work the tin opener this evening! Smile

Ah that's good then, I always think it's helpful if our youngsters start to get some life skills, it always amazes me when I watch something like Big Brother and an 18 year old goes on and they have never ever done anything for themselves, mind you this is from someone that started training them very young, heh heh
