How's you all doin??? feel like i'v not been on here in ages and now it's half term! lol so what's people been up to then!? all's well i hope :)
my son's been pretty difficult recently, and i mean more so than usual! :( i haven't a clue whats up with him or anything :( but i'm just gettin thru the days with hopefully not too many tellin him off moments but when he just keeps pushin the boudries and everything it is really difficult sometimes to deal with him! but least at the end of the day no matter what he tells me that he loves me and of course there's nothing that can become between a mothers and child's love! :) i told him the other morning of how proud i was of him at school and how amazed i was at how much he's learnt and done since he started! .... he supprised me the other day by RANDOMLY sayin his 2 times tables up to 20 :O (i didn't know them till i was 7 and here's a up and coming 5yr old just sayin them off top his head! :O (infact i still get stuck after 12!!!!))
so any ways! as i said were all on half term from school and i planned 3 things to do this week with my son to get us both trhu the week with out being too over top and everything! lol ... only thing is i havent got exactly the amount of money i thought i had!!!! oops! but hopefully i'd still be able to sort things out and make it thru to friday for the grand fanalee (cant spell it! lol ... the big ending!) So today we went off to Burton and went to the cinenma to watch Gnomeo and Juliet! 100% wicked film had us all in stiches! :D brought 2 new tshirts for him too! one was a nice bright YELLOW one which has a merkat on with the head phones on with the words I'M NOT LISTENING!!!! (so sum's him up at the moment!!!) then i spotted an ANIMAL (from the muppets) tshirt which has a huge pic of his face on a black tshirt and that has printed on I AM AN ANIMAL! (which also sum's him up at the moment! haha)
Tomorrow i'm plannin a bakeing day with him so goin to make some food up prob do a pasta bake and a pudding/loaf of some sort! :) got to take books back to library some point this week so prob do that tomorrow and get some new ones! :) Then on weds were off to see my good friend come sister :) in nottingham for a day of fun :) and i REALLY cant wait! i'v booked me train tickets tonight and got everything i need for that! now it's just waiting for weds to come! hehe! Thrus were having a day in! then on fri hopefully i'v saved £20 for then! i'm goin to take my son to the ZOO (hopefully it wont be too wet too! lol)
So that is our week planned out and other than his odd behaviour at the moment it's got off to a good start! :D and yes i totally and utterly surgest to go and see Gnomeo and Juliet! :D
well we ended up making ... beetroot soup, choc cake bars (compleat disaster) and a huge loaf of bread! :D ooo i made a Tea loaf this morning as well which could have been a disaster as well as it said it would take 90 mins to cook but cooked in 1/2 hr :O haha!!!!!!!!!!!
The beetroot soup was DELISH :D we had that for tea and it even got the thumbs up from me step dad :O! (he can be hard to please some times!) and the bread was georgus too! had some tomarto flour mixed that with some plan flour to give it a little less of the tomarto flavour! so chucked that on the tray (after mixin it all up of course!) lol cooked it up and when it was nearly done i chucked a load of cheese on top and left it to go nice and crispy! :D it was LOVELY! straight out the oven steaming hot, spread straight on it and with it still too hot to eat mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lovely! hehe!!!
as for the total disaster wont be making that again! lol it was meant to be a lovely biscuit choc bottom with a vanilla middle and a choc top! so made it in to a sandwhich style bar, but even tho i followed the instructions and everything how to make it the vanilla middle just didn't set and the choc top wouldnt stay on top!!!!!!! and that was with it being in the freezer for half hr too! :( so that ended up in the bin! lol but never mind 3 out of 4 aint bad! hehe! even tho the TEA loaf i had to cut all the sides top and bottom off it as it did burn! haha but it's left a nice gooey middle which melts in your mouth so it's not a total disaster! :D
got NOTTINGHAM tomorrow! soooooooo cant wait! not seen my friend in about 2 yrs if not 3! i cant work it out! lol but it's goin to be a good day and i really cant wait till 10am when i'll be there! :D

Just worked out that we have to be out of the house for 7:30 to be in town for 7:50 to catch the 7:53 bus!!! :O ooooooooooo it's goin to be fun gettin there! haha

WOW! i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired! :O (yawn rather than shock!!!) woke up at 6:30 and reset the alarm for 6:45 due to the fact that i was pinned to my bed with my son pretty much lyin on top of me! haha!!!!!!! so i woke up at 6:45 and just layed there and looked at my son thinking .... i REALLY should wake him up but to look at that sleepy face nah!! i'll just push my luck and i woke up at 7!!! hehe! got his breakfast and we were actually still out the house for 7:30 got to town, round the corner and was like ah! thats our bus!!!! so made my son walk that bit faster then he said he's goin to run to tell the driver to wait bless him :) (only to find that he was on a fag break any way! lol)
arrived in Nottingham after a lovely train ride and we went straight round my friends house after a magic bus (as my son calls it! aka TRAM!) journey our 2 children had a go on her son's WII and then we headed of to Jungletastic (a huge soft play area) which we spent 2hrs there had dinner and all the children (there was me and my son, my friend and her son, her sister-in-law and her 2!) run of some mega steam! it was really good there and only 1 accident my son had and that was that he fell of something and hurt his knees! hehe!
we then walked back to the tram station (bout 20 mins walk up the road) and jumped back on the tram and off at the other end and pretty much (after popping in to tesco's) back on the train home :( really didnt want to go so were plannin (all ready) to go back to hers and have a sleep over type of stay! :D that way we can pack loads of things in to our stay and not have to worry 100% bout my train home!
i'm impressed how much walking my son (and my self!) have done today! it's a good mile in to town, then another from the bus stop to the train station then from the tram station to my friends house! so in that lot we'v prob covered about 4 miles! then theres the walk up to the bus stop and then to softplay and back so prob another 3 miles and the walk from the train station to the bus stop and back home which is another 4 miles so we've prob covered a good 10miles today SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad i'v not plan anything for tomorrow! were having a nice relaxing day in got to pop in to town for a few things but nothing is goin to be rushed at all!!!!

were plannin it for the summer hols that way i don't have to worry bout work and sunday travle and can make a real day or so of everything :)
i got there today for 10:05 and that's with the train runnin 10mins late! so we'll deffently have some time to spend with each other and the kids to wear each other out and get on each others nervs! hehe!!!!!!!!!!

Good plan for the summer as you say you wont have to worry about work or anything else, do you have a family rail card, or does someone you know have one you could borrow, they make the fares a lot cheaper even booking in advance without a rail card can make the fares much cheaper xxx

were both payin for it today with all the walking! shattered isn't the word! lol achey legs and my son didn't sleep well last night cuz his legs were hurting him :( but there we go!!!
i'm goin to get a rail card on my next pay day cuz of travling down on holiday at beginin of summer hols and goin to plan to go out to my friends and up to family so will save me a bit of money, i seen a yr card in WHSmiths for £26 so goin to get one of them! :) altho it only cost me £12.80 for yesterday's return so not too bad really! :)
Took my son hair dressers today and he SOOOOOOOOOO didn't want it :( kicked up a right fuss the poor chap doin his hair was about givin up! ... i figured out that my son dosen't like men cuttin his hair but there we go! the lady's on holiday this week due to her kids being off school! dispite the fuss he got over it pretty quickly and his hair has turned out all right really! (other than he ended up with a small cut on his ear cuz the hair dresser went to use the razor and my son jumped!) he's got it all spikey now and it looks really good! (not the mop top that he had up till this morning! lol)
right got to go sort out our tea (well me step dads he told me to put it on at 4 and it's 20past! haha!) were having rice tonight and my son wants pasta!
