Did you see the article? The fact that Fathers Day was borne in honour of a single dad means it is ultra important that you are celebrated for your fabness!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all our fab dads on One Space, and to the many dads that co-parent so wonderfully with some of the mums on here.......and spare a thought for those who have decided NOT to be a dad to their children, and don't realise what they are missing out on. Warm wishes to those who miss their dads, whether children or grown-ups.

But when I remembered it, we were walking back from the shops and someone asked me how my fathers day had been, and my son gave me an imaginary bottle of wine and an imaginary card : )
That made me chuckle.
I know C doesn't make Fathers Day cards at school, it doesn't seem to be something they do, (not that C has a need too). Do the teachers not mention Fathers day at your childrens school Bubblegum. It seems a shame really that no one reminds them on your behalf, though of course I'm sure you don't mind.
Can't beat an imaginary bottle of wine...
FiL hadn't had a card either, I couldn't help but notice - but then again never does from his son.
I took a Grandad card too (I got a 'someone special' one), which I don't usually do.

Thye did make cards at school... in fact they actualy both gave me two home made cards later sunday evening : )

Yes, happy father's days to our FAB dads on here. I would just like to say how great it is to have dads and mums together on this board, supporting each other and helping each other along the way!
