Think I have finally lost it!!!
So I live in an Ave where we each have our own unofficial parking space in a big square at the bottom of the ave. About 30 mins ago I decided to nip to the shop and went down to get in my car... but it was gone! My space was empty! I felt myself panic and ran back in the house to phone boyf and tell him my car has been nicked. I was gutted and rang police but number was busy so went out to neighbour to ask if he saw who took my car. To my utter horror he said "but your car is just there, right infront of you!" OMG I totally forgot that somebody had parked in 'my' space when I came home so I had had to park in another spot (actually closer to my house so I actually walked PAST it when I attempted to go to my usual space) . So embarressing lol had to ring boyf and explain I was just having a 'moment'
Aww little angel, it is easily done.
My mum used to live in a first floor flat that was ten minutes walk from the shops. One night she was restless and got up for a cup of tea, looked out the window at the stars and saw her garage open and her car gone. She went into a mega panic then suddenly remembered that the previous day she had had a few errands to do, had gone out in her car, stopped at the shops on the way home then forgotten about her car and walked home. She had to call a taxi to take her back to the car in the middle of the night and asked the driver to watch her get into the car and drive away, as it was a high car crime area and she did not want to leave it till morning.
I quite often completely forget where I have parked my car when I have gone to the supermarket
Yes we had the same problem in the multistorey the other day!! My daughter and I split up and eventually she text me 'Level J'!!
I've done that here, walking up and down the road trying to remember where I parked.
Hope you're ok.
Hahahah, this is so funny. I have these moments all the time just never on such a grand scale.
Bad luck littleangel, you have sooo much going on at the moment it is not surprising that you missed this.
Glad that you can see the funny side of it though. Thank goodness you spoke to the neighbour before getting hold of the police! You don't need them thinking you are crackers at this moment!!
I hope that you got what you needed from the shop and you had a good evening without any more stress before the big day you have today.
Thinking of you
