I'm a mum to two - a boy and a girl. Both back to school tomorrow for two days, and on Thursday they are having 'street parties' at school to celebrate the Royal wedding, can you believe?! So one day back to learn and the next day to make flags and part-ay lol.
Awww. I'm sure they'll have a day to remember though.

You both mention very quiet social lives. I found this too, when my daughter was smaller, I hope that One Space can fill a bit of that gap, however it is important to make 'live' friends too!
Have a look at Your Local and see if there is anything going on in your area, as all the events are low cost or free, hopefully you will meet people in similar positions as yourselves. Not that I am presuming that you are living on the breadline, but low cost entertainment is always a bonus, eh?
