aarrgghh!!! after being woken up at 6:30 (ok it's not that bad but still!!!) my son the decided to tell me that he couldn't hear anything and it hurts when he swollows! so i was like ok then lets see what we can do here!! gave him some calpol and let that settle and he said he wanted slice of bread and butter for breakky but he couldn't eat that as every time he swolled it still hurt him :(
so was like ok then lets get you down drs! got a 5 min appointment with him and it works out that he's got a virus comin and it's in his throat :( so were goin to have a very croaky lil man at some point!!
finely get him back for school (5 to 10!) and he's gone with a top up of calpol and a small pack of throat sweets (which i'v put in an envalope with a letter to his teacher!) he's also got 2 packs of juices in his school bag so if he feels he needs them during the day their there on hand! i'v got a prescription for anti biotics if he gets really bad and knowing my luck he'll be fine till sunday when i'll have to go all the way up to Tesco's to there pharmacy!! (it's about 4 miles from our house!!!)
ah well i'm goin to join him in a few mins to see how hee's got on at school this morning and see how he is now! then got reading with them all this afternoon so all's good in some way shape or form!!! ... i kinda don't think he's got over the sickness bug he got last week so it's just hit him and as his throat is the weekest part of his body at the moment due to the sickness bug it's that, that will get hit first!!!
just got to plod on! SOOOOO glad it's friday today! been a long cold week with a sad but happy end to the week, my step dad's sister is FINELLY being cremated today bless her, a whole month and half since she passed away :( so were sad she's gone but happy this day has finely come for her!
on a happy note!! it was my birthday yesterday and today's my dad's birthday! hehe! :D 27 yrs old!!! i duno if it's a good thing or just another yr to get things done!!! lol as for my day he's now (thinking!!!) 61 i think! ... yeh 61!!! got me mum's birthday at end of month bless her then april is my bro's and the day after that me step dads!!! which i think is pretty funny that my dads is the day after mine and my step dad's is the day after my bro's!!!!

he's gone right down hill :( i stay after dinner shift on fridays to do reading and i got him to come out first so i could sort his school books out and everything, he was fine then but when i came to him at the end of the day he was bad you could see it in his cheeks and eyes that he was getting worse :( so popped home dropped things off and picked up me purse and his prescription and went in to town on the bus! walked accross to boots and picked up the anti biotics and the lady that was there was the same as this morning and even she said blimey he has gone down hill hasnt he since this morning! i said yeh he JUST made it thru school! :O so went to wait for bus and it was the wrong bus so i asked thr driver if we could have a ride round as i was having to pick him up and getting VERY bad shoulder and back ache!! (i really must get him weighed!!!) and as he sat there on my lap muttering away to me i realised after 5 mins that he'd stopped and i looked down at him fast asleep! :O which is SOOOOOOOO not like him at all :(
he's hardly eaten anything today apparently he only ate his chips at dinner time (i did tell the dinner hall ladies that he's got a sore throat just see how he gose with dinner!!) he did have an apple this morning which was good! so other than that and a few chips and an ice cream! (well 1/2 of one!) he's not had anything else to eat! but i'm not bothered! he's drinking loads still and has some throat sweets for when his throat is bad between calpol and anti biotics! lol
hehe! yeh i kept my birthday quiet! had a good day and finished it off with a lovely indian meal! :D so was happy at that! :)

thanks tiredmum! and in a way i'm glad i know bout it as i have got everything ready just incase he wakes up in the night!!!! (just got to fill water bottles up!) calpol's on side with spoon and thermomitor is right next to it! so if i do end up having a long night at least it can be a comfy one in bed!!!
typical really as i planned a few things this weekend and yet again he's not 100% lol least they wernt big plans and can change them slightly! was goin to pop over coalville to see my friend (and get birthday pressy!) tomorrow and sunday was goin to pop up to my dads after going coalville to get his pressy and give it to him on sunday and get mine from him! lol not that i have a clue what to get him! lol
Hi Hatz, yes I understand what you mean about knowing your little one is feeling poorly as you say you can be prepared and comfy tonight, hot water bottles are great arent they,
You never know he might be feelig much better tomorrow, I do hope so, at least your birthday is lasting a long time this year as least till you get your pressies!!!!!!!!!!
Men generally are hard to buy for I think, I usually go for Lynx or something similar if I buy for a guy, my friends son must be sooooooo bored with my presents always the same just a different variety!!!!!

he's not been too bad today could tell when he'd had enough and when the calpol had warn off and everything but we both made it to coalville and round a few shops, on bus home he started dropping off so quickly phoned home and asked if needed anything from tesco's as was just bout goin past on bus and would stop my him from droppin off cuz wouldnt have been able to carry him and 2 bags of shopping as well as a bottle of wine!! so we stopped off at tesco's got a few things and then grabbed a taxi home!
my dad! well if you buy him clothing it tends to stay in its wrapper! he dosent wear aftershave, deodrant, or any of that sort of thing! he dosen't shave! he dosen't do much to be honest! lol so he's ended up with some Epoxiy glue, a pack of tweezers (not for plucking eye brows with!!!) a pack of mini note pads and a pack of 4 pens!!!!!!! ok i know it sounds a bit of an odd combo but he's asked for the glue before, he uses the tweezers when he's got things to stick down that he cant hold with his fingers and the note pads and pens ... well every one uses them really! lol so i just gone practical! lol i use to get him a bottle of port and a pack of stilton cheese every year, then i changed it to a bottle of christmas ale (or beer!) and then one year he called me to say he'd stopped drinking altogether! he dosen't really eat chocolate!!! so he's really kinda hard to buy for!! always has beens so i guess things never change! lol
so goin up me dads tomorrow might see if can leave my son here with me mum as me dad smokes and we always come back stinking of it and with my son the way he is at the moment it might be better for him to stay here instead of breathing in all his stinky air! .. we'll see in the morning!
anyways i'm goin to head off for a bit really tired today for some reason!!! i did actually get a good night sleep ... OOOO!!! my son came in to me (i was still awake so was about 12!) but he cam in to me last night and said mummy, i just gone down to the toilet all by my self!!!!!!!! :O i was like REALLY! :O ...i didn't even hear him open his door, didn't hear him go down or even back up the stairs!!! :O lol mr quiet man last night! lol (we do have the toilet room light left on all the time cuz if you switch it off it don't want to turn back on so we just leave it on now! and the bath room lights on as we'v not got round to mending the pull!!(my son switched it on and the cord came out in his hands! haha)) so yes 2 lights are on down stairs but even to this day i hate going down when everyone's gone to bed! haha (yes i'm a lil scady cat!) but i was scared stiff one night when someone deicded to try our door, they didn't break in they just tried the handle! :S so i have been scared since then really! lol but there we go! my 4yr old not only cleaverer than me is also braver than me! haha!

Hope you enjoy the visit to your dad. You made me smile with what you have bought him......obviously exactly what he wants. One year for my birthday my friend bought me a jar of Indian lime pickle! How is your son today?
well it wasn't too bad really! he'd even got his cleaner to make a millionair's cake! :O (thats a first EVER!) i'v walked away with a printer scanner so i'm IMPRESSED to say the least!!! lol (you'll understand everything when i say what happend at xmas with me my bro and my dad!!!) (my bro being 30! (that's kinda improtant to remember!)) so i go up to my dads at xmas and exchange pressies! (i cant remember what i got him now!) but i got a voucher of him for £50 and a few little bits which he'd seen and everything! he'd spent about £20 on my son (so that's £70 all together for us both really!) then my brother went up (thank god we didn't go up at the same time!) and he gets an orange plastic guitar!!!!! (yes he's 30!) so when it comes round to pressents and everything i'm always worried about what were going to be getting each!! i'm not goin to tell my brother that i got a printer of my dad for my pressy incase he gets another crap pressent for his birthday!!!!! I hoping that he'll have his head screwed on and get something thats decent! (one yr he got (my bro that is!) a lovely USED Nesscafe mug set!!!)
this sort of thing has happend thru all our life's!!! when my grandma was alive at xmas he always got a naff pressy and £20, where i would be sat there at 14yr (with my ear's peirced!) getting a sheet of stick on ear ring stickers!!!!!!!!!!!! so it's always been the other way round thru out our lives!!!!!

well as for my son he's been a lot better today still a bit grouchy at times but least it's not painfull! (as much as he's told me that is!!) still got to keep up with the anti's! so we can make sure it's all out his sistum! and he dosent get a repeat of it! i REALLY hope we dont!
was really happy when it came round to 5:30! lol he'd been playin up all afternoon and beleive me it was one of those moments! it is sunday night isn't it!!! yup GOOD early bed time as he was just messing bout WAYYYYYY too much! so when it came round to 6:15 i was like BATH! left him in the bath till 1/4 to 7 then he went straight up to bed!!! was releived when that time came!!!
well i'm goin to grab somethin to eat and a cuppa! lol hope every one's ok :)
I'm not going to comment on the pressies hatz, lost for words here hehe. I'm impressed with the scanner though, that is lovely.

well i'm always lost for words wehn it comes to pressies from my family! haha! (other than me mum and step dad and me bro!!!) i do mean the other members! lol
lil man is fine today, forgot to give him his meds this morning tho :( oops but there we go! just have to squeeze 3 in this afternoon after school! lol it dose say at regular intervals so if i leave an hr between each one should be fine! hehe!!!
I had the worst night's sleep EVER last night and spent most of it awake rather than asleep :( and i'm really tired now and having to FORCE my self to stay awake :( was suffereing with ear/jaw ache last night :( but no matter what nothing would releive it! nurafen, paracetamols, calpol i even rubbed bonjella in to my jaw but it just came back on the hr every hr! (obv's i made sure i didn't over dose on the drugs!) so i went town this morning and picked up a pack of paramol and 3hrs later that has finely kicked it grrrr!!! but least it has in time for work! :) just wish the other half of me would settle down and let me get on with things now!!!! (late on by a whole week!!!! UGH!!!!!!!)
anyways i better crack on and get to work! want to take my radiator with me but as it's attached to the wall i think that's a bit out of the question really! lol

Hope you are Ok, you may need to go to the doctor if things don't settle down, aren't there a lot of horrid bugs around?
now that i have ten tonn of pain killers in me i'm kinda on a pain free level :O!!!!!!!!! just hope it stays this way thru the night cuz i don't think i can cope with another night like last night! :( i kept falling asleep earlier just before work and then when i came home from work i managed to force my self to have half hr! (thankfully i did wake up to get my son from school!) and then i had another half hr and woke up at 8 when the phone rang and made me jump! lol :)
busy time at work today loads of children in for the first aid (where i am this week! not my fave place as it dose get busy!) aww one poor lad he'd come in cuz he'd hurt his leg and then about 10 mins later was back in, in floods of tears, i couldn't get out of him what exactly happend but he'd fallen over bumped and scraped his head and managed to give him self a good cut on his finger :( but he was so brave after we'd managed to calm him down and everything he sat down and stayed inside with me 1 so i could keep an eye on him and 2 he felt a bit safer! then his teacher showed up so i passed him on to her and said what happend and i think he just needs to sit quiet for a few mins if you could have him (type thing!!!) but it just got soooo busy and what seemed like all of my son's class coming in with head bumps! lol so there was me running round with a yr 6 that loves to help out with the first aid tryin to fill in the book, head slips and deal with the others that kept coming in! when i popped my head out to get some help there was the head teacher standing there and she came in and was like Whooooo! how many you got in here then!!! so i went round and explained what people have done and that i just need someone in that can wright out the head slips so i can deal with the other parts! so she pretty much ran out and got one the other ladies in!!! :D FEW!!!!!!!! (i don't know what it is but i always feel more stressed when the boss is about!!!!)
so i sure was glad when that dinner time was over with!!!!!!!!!! :D went to walk out of school thru the secure door and noticed that it wasn't shut properly?? first thought was that someone had just gone thru it and it was still shutting and i'd just cought it! but then when it didn't shut behind me (and i tryed it several times!) i was like ok some thing wrong here! ... so popped my head in to the head teachers room and told her it wasn't shutting propperly had a quick look round it see if i could see anything but nothin was coming to my eye and they were looking and looking rather confused! lol but i guess they sorted it in the end other wise they'd have to get a bouncer in! hahahahahaha ... i'll find out tomorrow! :)
