Hi OneSpace users!
I'm Anthony, and I'm working on a motherhood oral history project that I'd love to have your help with.
Proshanti, a charity based at the Bromley by Bow Centre in East London, is working in collaboration with the Tony Blair Faith Foundation on an oral history project, called the Museum of Motherhood. The project aims to document untold stories of motherhood across all communities in London, in order to raise awareness of the importance of maternal healthcare. The project will culminate in a temporary exhibition, and possibly also a small book, with all the collected stories.
I have already started conducting interviews with mothers, as well as daughters, from many different communities, of all faiths and none. In order to make this project as representative as possible, I think it would be very important to include stories from single mothers.
If you would like to be involved in this project, please email me at Anthony@Proshanti.org so we can arrange a time to meet in London or talk on the telephone.
Thanks for reading!
