Does anyone know how i can get a rent deposit as job centre aint doing loans no more for advance rent. I am a single mum of 2 i have found a house with a letting agents but i cant get a loan to pay for the advance rent. can anyone help me asap . many thanks

There are some (only a few) local schemes to help people and the people that would know about those would be our own Housing Expert (click to email) Make sure that when you email them you tell them which town you are from. it is a private service and you will get a personal reply.

Give your local housing office a call and ask if they are doing 'the bond sceme'
I'm not sure if it will be in your area or your personal cercumstances but worth asking.
If not you can apply for a budgeting loan ?
