Jobseekers Allowance sanctions: we need your story!

"Here at Single Parent Action Network, One Space's organisation, we have evidence of single parents being sanctioned for their caring responsibilities ie picking up their children from school and even for looking after their child when they are off school sick. We want to make Sanctions fair and appropriate.

£20 of High Street Vouchers on Offer!

Are you a single parent with a child aged 16 years or under on Jobseekers Allowance who has been sanctioned?

If so we would really like to interview you about your experience.

In return for 20 minutes of your time on the phone we can offer you a £20 High Street voucher. We will not share your personal details.

Our overall findings will go to a Government Review and we hope will help improve the way single parents are treated who are threatened with a sanction.

Yes do share the link as widely as you like. I want to speak to single parents about their experiences. We know the negative financial impact that sanctions can have on single parents and whilst we cannot stop the policy of sanctions we can press to make the system as fair and consistent as possible.
