I'm 23 years old and have a 2 year old son and a 2 week old son. They have the same dad but he's not around now due to him being abusive, he was told had to go to court to see them but says he doesn't want to and is now saying my 2 week old son is not his. It been a hard 3 years being in abusive relationship and bringing up a little boy on my own while being pregnant but having my son on my own has sort of given me a new lease of life and im so much more confident. I'm looking forward to the future with my 2 gorgeous boys :)

Do you have friends and family supporting you through these early stages? Have you had any support from a domestic abuse service?

It is emotionally challenging facing dealing with an abusive partner, let alone a newborn baby and toddler. So, if your ex doesn't want to go to court, does this mean he doesn't see the boys and he has left you alone?
