Hillcroft College and Single Parent Action Network (SPAN) are offering single parents the opportunity to study Life Coaching in the vibrant and dynamic surrounds of the UK’s only specialist college for women.

1 May to 4 May 2012 - (Tuesday to Friday) 10am to 3pm Day only
4 May to 6 May 2012 - (Friday to Sunday) Weekend Residential
 
COST
There is an enrolment fee of £20.00, many students at Hillcroft may be able to receive special bursaries to support residential accommodation, childcare provision and travel costs if they meet the eligibility criteria please contact us for further information and to discuss your needs.

Hi Hopeful, I think it would be a great course for you to do!

I am not sure of the costs of the weekend residential. I have just tried to call and have left a message for them to call me back.

Not near enough to drive there and back on a daily basis. Am in Kent so have to go all the way round the M25!

But I'd like to give this a go - maybe it'll teach me to be more assertive with my teens.

This course is about identifying and achieving life goals, rather than assertiveness. However you may find it useful to learn about developing strategies to overcome negative thought patterns perhaps?
