Ive just left a violent partner.... who verbally abuses me and the child maintenance service want to give him my bank details or paypal account details wtf......
Something needs done about this...
the only way round it is pre pay cards but dunno how they work and hes in arrears all ready lol if they give him a method of paying n he fails to make it they arrest his benefit lol xx but they need to give him a chance yes ryt lol x
does that mean YOU get paid and they stop him having his benefits lol good idea xx
yes £14 a fortnight of them lol for 2 kids wot a joke rofl xx

Hi bluedaisy, congrats on nearly finishing your course, you must have worked hard to get nearly to the end of it! With child maintenance questions, have you had a look at our pages on this topic, we are getting so many comments about this crazy system, it's just so unfair! I am sure it was thought out by somebody who thinks that everybody is on at least a grand a week so a few quid more or less won't make any difference! We are still fighting it as much as we can through petitions and our parliamentary representative!
If you need advice, send an email to Jean, our CMS/CSA expert, she really knows her stuff and I am sure will have some good advice!

my x pays maintenance through an attachment to earnings order took ages to get sorted will i have to go on the new system cause this sucks if he dint pay before he's hardly going to change now

that's exactly why this new law is so wrong! If you can go through mediation and get a maintenance agreement that is great, but this law was passed by people who have never been anywhere near a violent or abusive partner, and have no idea of how difficult it is to get an angry ex not to take it out on the children. Instead now it's the CMS who take it out on the children.
They have promised a review of this legislation. We are collecting as many stories as we can of how this is just not working.
he was on phone to them saying he wasn't paying f*** all as he doesn't get to see them... so what hope have i got lol i will need to tell them hes not paying ..

a lot better sky flower ive accepted its over and i keep reading the freedom book ive had no contact of him as i told he hes a head waster lol so maybe hes taking the hint...

That is such wonderful news bluedaisy, I am so glad you get all this help I know it is not easy and sometimes you do 2 steps forward and then backwards before being able to go forwards again, but you are giving it your bestest shot and so glad they are all there for you, we will cheer for you here ! x
Well done bluedaisy, 6 workers seems a good round number! So who are they and how did you do it?
It's good news that things are moving forward, and very glad the Freedom Programme is helping. Don't rush it. It will take a lot longer than you think to, as you put it, get him out of your head. And be careful that he doesn't try to get back at you next time you feel vulnerable.
