my wife left me just over a year ago after 26 years of marriage,i have not recieved a penny from her for my 13 year old daughter how do i go about this???
hiya terry
if your ex wife is working then all you have to do is call csa and they will take care of it and remove the amount from her wages and place into your bank account. watch out though because i done that and my ex gave up work!!. no work no money.
Hi terry. Welcome along to One Space. If you have sole care of your daughter then you're entitled to the child benefit. Do you get child tax credit? Are you working at the moment?
Hello Terry and welcome
I am presuming you are in receipt of child benefit and therefore child tax credit for your daughter, as you have the main day to day care?
You can go through the Child Support Agency (click the link) to obtain some support from your daughter's mother. If she is not working then this will be only £5 per week but if she is, then you will receive 15% of her salary, provided she has no other children to provide for and also provided she does not spend more than two nights a week with her mum, when the amount would be reduced.
Does your daughter see her mother at all?
hi terry welcome to this site it is useful hope you have used the links and gotten help
Hi terry, welcome to One Space...I hope you manage to get things sorted out.
