Hi I have been suffering Domestic abuse for 3years! I ended it all in Jan of this year and have had 5 months of harassment,stalking and threats.... Police have been involved of course ,and they were very supportive. I have a 15 yr old Daughter who will not sleep in her own bed because she is frightened of him,thinks he is going to kidnapp or harm her to get to me! Ive had to have fire proof letter box installed because he said if i dont be with him he will burn the house down with everyone in it, also had new locks to the windows, Im looking over my shoulder where ever I am and am scared,lost,lost all my confidence. not used to forums so need some help please peep's...

Karen45 I don't know whether you consider counselling would help you at the moment but it certainly sounds as if your daughter is experiencing high levels of anxiety and needs help...can you ask at the school and if there is nothing, ask your GP about local young peoples' counselling.

hi, have u got an injunction / non molestation order against him? it sounds like u have enough reason and evidence to get one, it could specify that he is not come within 100 or more metres of ur house- would help to make u and daughter feel safer xx
if he breaks terms of injunction u can just ring up police and they will arrest him
