Can someone point me in the right direction please? I have a court order dated December 2012 which states that my ex-husband has to pay me spousal maintenance and also maintenance for our two children. In a nutshell, he did not pay the correct amount each month - sometimes not paying for two months at a time - and therefore owes me over £1,000. Being a single parent, this is a lot of money. I do know that once a court order is over a year old (in my case December 2013) then I have to go through the CSA to receive some maintenance. Is there anything I can do to try and get the back maintenance due to me in the year of December 2012 to December 2013?
