Are you a single parent living in Yorkshire and affected by the government policy which is currently moving all lone parents with a youngest child aged seven or over from Income Support to Job Seeker's Allowance? If so, Radio York want to interview you. Please contact Alan Watkiss on 01904 540329 or email allan.watkiss@bbc.co.uk
Anyone remember shoestring? watching that when I was a kid has left me with the impression that all radio DJ's are film noir sleuths solving crimes..
: )
I remember Shoestring!! Trevor Eve when he was young. I think he was one of a kind, Bubblegum, none of the radio people I have met have been part time detectives...ooh apart from that Sherlock Holmes bloke on Radio One, lol
It is Monday, alisoncam, probably the breakfast show, but I don't think you will be able to get reception, I wonder if you can listen online on their website? Pity it is not YOUR local radio, you would be fab at doing the interview!
I do like Trevor Eve...
I'm wondering if you can on the internet too...
Me doing an interview would be like watching jelly wobbling on a plate hehe.
There was that American programme when I was younger. Midnight something or other I think. A DJ too who helped solve cases. That guy was a hunk. Wouldn't turn him a way if he came knocking at my door Anyone remember this one?
I'd forgotten about that one!
Midnight something - that's the one!
I'm going to have to google, as I really liked him too (but then we are of a similar era!!)
Midnight caller?
Brilliantly remembered!
In my favourites.

Not at all. I'm anti-men
