I often think that things that happen in real life are much funnier than actual "jokes" So here is a thread for those funnies.

Ok my friend the taxi driver picked up three elderly ladies from their OAP lunch club. It was St David's Day, (the Welsh patron saint)

Driver: Well ladies, did you know it is St David's Day today?

Passenger: Yes, we have had a special St David's day lunch at the club

Driver: ooh what did you have?

Passenger: Yorkshire pudding

Ha ha!

I had a funny experience years ago, well I thought it was funny anyway!

I was working in an office and we were experiencing security problems with our computers so we had engineers in to change our passwords, so rather then have one that logged us all in, we had to have individual ones. I asked my colleague what hers would be and she said 'Mary', I then asked another colleague and he said 'Keith' and another 'Andrew' EVERYONE had made their new secure passwords their first names!!

Thats security for you! Well I thought it was highly amusing!

HAHA, in Coronation St recently, one of the characters (Nick, who owns the bistro) had his computer hacked into. His employee had to guess what his password would be, to hack it, and it was "Nick"  Everyone on the Coronation St discussion forum said this was totally unrealistic, obviously not.

Another real life funny. My friend had a phone call from her elderly mother in Scotland to ask what she wanted for her birthday. Friend said well I wonder if you would send me some money, Mum, as I am saving up for an i-Pad. Her mum said "oh no, poor darling, what's wrong with your eye?"
