Im going through a very rough time of it right now where i threw my 2 girls dad out 11 weeks ago then social services stepped in and told him he wasn't to see the kids. I have recieved nothing but abuse of him ever since hes been with 2 young girls hes sent me pictures of him and one of them on my youngest daughters 1st birthday the mind games are unbearable. I have womans aid involved also but i am at my end on my tether at times so i am glad i have found this site for advice and for me to get things off my chest!!!

Non payment of maintenance - help!

Can someone point me in the right direction please? I have a court order dated December 2012 which states that my ex-husband has to pay me spousal maintenance and also maintenance for our two children. In a nutshell, he did not pay the correct amount each month - sometimes not paying for two months at a time - and therefore owes me over £1,000. Being a single parent, this is a lot of money. I do know that once a court order is over a year old (in my case December 2013) then I have to go through the CSA to receive some maintenance.

Changing name by deed poll

Hi, I wondered if anyone has experience of this.

I want to change my name back to my maiden name as soon as possible. I have looked online for advice on how to do this but deed poll stuff seems really confusing, I have no idea how much it will cost or how I'm supposed to go about it.

Has anybody done this recently? Do I have to do it through a solicitor or is there a more "DIY" method? Is it expensive?

Hi can anyone relate to this subject, my husband recently left me for another woman, and he has mentally abused me for four years I believe he has narcissism disorder, these are very dangerous people and cause severe mentall stress and should be stopped somehow in doing so.

Has anyone else suffered at the hands of this disorder

I'm not even sure how to start this except for at the beginning I suppose but obviously cut back a bit! I was with my Ex for 20 years on and off. The on and off was always his decision in the past, a way out so he could sleep with someone else, during these periods of time which lasted between a week with his first indiscretion, to a couple of years with a different one, all these break up relationships happened during my pregnancies.

Hi me and my partner are on the verge of splitting up. I live in his area with our 2kids 1 four yrs old and 1 7mth old. I have no1 to talk to and dont feel secure for me and girls. Where would i start about finding somewhere to live and hopefully near my family. im with my partner in a rented home right now. Everything in my name but because he works he pays the bills. This enviroment we are in is really not good for me and girls and really need help???

I haven't posted on this site for ages.

I just wanted to say thanks for helping me through the darkest period whilst going through the divorce process. I was a mess at the beginning and the kind words and encouragement I recieved from people here really help me.

When I last posted I had returned home after having fled to my parents with my little one, rather than live with an extremely angry and volatile man.

I feel so broken, incredibly broken. For so long I have fought for my children, to keep them safe, being accused of parental alienation, factitious illness, borderline syndrome...all done by them to make my children visit their abuser. Finally the case was closed after the second round of social services having to make a section 37 report, the judge wanting my children into care. It was to teach me a lesson, as the judge wanted my children to visit their sociopathic father.

it has been two years sincei was last intimate with my ex, but i have just done it again :( i know all his movess, the sweet text, extra calls etc, i knew where it was leading, I told him I didnt want it but he continued, and slowly broke me down.

My ex has begun the mediation/court process for access to our son and I really need to speak to someone who can advise me. I am completely alone with no close friends or family and I’m finding this situation overwhelming. That's just the tip of the iceburg....
