Hi PQ, hope you have enjoyed spending time with your friend today. The friend I saw last week, I have not seen her for two years. I think it's lovely to be in touch.
How is everyone? have you had a good weekend? I was rather jaded after the creche this morning but have been for a swim and feel a lot better. Back to the vampire novel tomorrow 
It was so lovely to see my friend. We laughed all afternoon. The last time we met up was about three years ago!
I splashed out and bought myself a new pair of running shoes this weekend. They're fab, it feels like i'm running on pillows. I tried them out for a short run on sunday, the big test will come when I go out with the running club on tuesday. I'm both excited and nervous about it, my stamina is going to be very low.

I'm glad you had a good break Louise. Over hill and dale is what we did during the week.
The week away was lovely. The weather was great, but wonky legs meant it wasn't possible to do some things... My lot sent me to my friend's house on the Sunday night, knowing I'd get upset. Probably was a good move or I would have unsettled my 18 year old - who probably was the only one who missed me! And the dog...
At least I can now say I've been to Scotland.
I took the day off work today, thank goodness. Do feel the need to have a day of doing nothing other than going to sit under the shower.
I need to have an interview for a passport. I think the nearest accessible office is 80 miles away. As we drove over 1200 miles last week, that will be nothing! Hahaha. While part of me can't be bothered, I will as it's paid for...
I do hope everyone is okay.
I did get in a right state before going away, with my friend calling around for 10 minutes to drop off a suitcase and give me a hug as I refused to leave the house I was so upset. Hopefully now I've done it once, I won't be such a daft bat again.

Just potering for me today. A went to her friends last night and still hasn't returned so its just me and H. We've had some good laughs together. Tomorrow I have a friend coming over for lunch. She lives abroad and doesn't come to the UK very often so I'm really excited to see her.
