Thanks :D it really is amazing what life can throw at you and some how when things seem to be at an all time low you do pull thru.. as they say that, that dosen't kill you makes you stronger :) it sure dose!
well we'v had a lazy morning this morning altho i have sorted washin out in to the dryer put new load on and done washin up! lol next on the list is something to eat and then tidy monsteroo's table up in the front room and TRY sort the kitchen table out! (again!) think my unc's comin tomorrow not so sure really just got to wait and see what happends there. ah if he's in time he can come with me to pick monster up from school :D will be wicked! they'v not seen each other in a yr! :O see if monster reconises him and everything! :)

We've been DISCHARGED :D whoop whoop! the dr took one look at his toes and said looks good! told him i wasnt 100% happy with his left toe as it's still a bit crucked but he said it's cuz they only did one thing and not the other (didn't catch it 100%) but he's happy with what they done with them and if the lil man wants to have it sorted out later on they are more than happy to do so when they have stopped growing! but there we go! we'v got the discharged notice and it's all sorted now to what they can do at least! lol
well i'm just bout there with me pressents and wrapping which is just as well as on my last £30! lol oops! but not done too bad think i'v spent £150 in all on all the pressents i'v brought! :D whoop! lol got a whole bag full of guddies! now just got to wait till saturday! :D hehe! other than am goin to see me dad on thursday!!! so get to at least open a pressy then! hehe!
well got me uncle comin up tomorrow afternoon! all the way from the isle of wight :) a long journy for him as he's doin the whole lot on a train! (other than the ferry crossing of course!) just bit longer than when we go down to minehead on the train! lol but sure he'll be just fine! :D aww i so cant wait till tomorrow! :D not seen him in a yr! :O

Good luck with all the travelling. We had snow all evening. Never seen so much of the stuff in my life!
So glad your son has been discharged. Can start to get excited now. 
lol my dad only lives bout 3 miles from us! hehe! he's at the top end of ashby as we say! (only cuz were down a ditch!) but seen the buses drive round all ready today (not on time but there still goin!!!) so hopefully will be the same tomorrow and so can get the lovely warm bus all the way up to his! :D
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY it's snowing! :D shame i cant upload any photos of it as i'v got a wicked view of snow snow and MORE snow out my window! (lucky enought to live behind some feilds so all i see is untouched snow everywhere and i want to go make snow angels! :D)
right! i havent really got time need to get dressed and sorted out ready for later! lol prob should have been propperly sorted out out half hr ago but there we go! lol had to take photos and put them striaght on f/b! :D whoop! :D hehe

yup! me for 3! lol tiredness has just started to kick in which considering i'v been up since 6am after going to sleep at 2:30am i don't think i'v done too bad! lol just having a little night cap then i'm hittin the pillows! :)
Have had such a wonderfull day and my man's been well and truley in to christmas this year right from putting a plate out for santa to hangin up his stockin to waking up this morning at 8am when i walked thru the door he says mummy :) i was like yes babe ... i was just seein if santa had come in to your room last night! and he SHOT out of bed in the matter of seconds! haha! :D we'v had a wonderfull day and he's been well and truley spoilt by me, my family and my friends :D
another christmas day tomorrow :) round at my brothers for dinner of some sort! :D and he's takin his new toy with him .... a toy land rover! he was in it for all of 5 mins earlier and he was off out the gates and down the road! :D (farm road as was at caravan! hehe)and he can now drive it round with no probs lol he's amazing! :D

It's been another good day :) went round my brothers at 2pm and had dinner and everything :) as soon as we walked thru the door my man asks if he could go on the WII so my bro said yes ok then i'll just set it up for you! and thats where he stayed till we went home at 6! haha (ok i know it's not good for kids to be on it that long but sometimes theres just no tellin him or draggin him away from things!) so we left him too it and we ate our dinner! (all ready fed him cuz he's bein a bit on the fussy side at the moment hardly eating anything!) cant wait till he's back in his routeen cuz means then he'll actually eat some food! lol yesterday he ate all of 1/2 bowl of poridge for breakfast, 3 roast pots and some veg chicken peices for dinner then 3 strawberries 2 kiwi slices a melon peice and a pineapple peice! for his pudding then for tea he had some more veg chicken things bit of cheese and 2 biscuits! and todays not been much better ... infact it's been worse! :( but i'm not really bothered at the moment! i'll just keep putting food out for him he either eats or not! lol
but any ways! :D me, my mum, my bro and his girlfriend (sometimes the monster!) all sat down and swapped pressies and had a little family circle goin on with opening pressies up and seein what got! i'v got the book i'v asked for! lol and a box of toblerone and mr man's got loads of things! lol brand new jumper/jacket/top with landrovers on it :D 2 small boxes of fire engine lego to make up, planes to build, colour/sticker book! loads of stuff! :D
he's possibly stayin round his uncles on tuesday! will be the first sleep over in 4yrs! (he use to stay over my parents when they were in leicester till he was about 6months old!) so could be fun, he's seen the room and the bed and he's said he's goin to take teddy and his water teddy (hot water bottle teddy!) he wanted to stay tonight but told him he couldnt cuz he'll have to wear his uncles PJ's as his were at home! lol :) so it could be fun see if it will work out for him and his unc or if we have to go get him at some point! lol
right i'm about droppin off so goin to log off and get my head down x

aww alisoncam :) thats well sweet! :D my son just keeps askin if santa will come back! lol told him today that he's having a rest now and then when January comes back round when you go back to school he'll go back to his work shop and make lots and lots of new toys! :) so think he's getting the idea now! lol
yeh i'm not too worried bout his eating just different than normal! he had a carrot for his dinner today! haha and a pack of crisps all he wanted! lol then bout 2 i gave him a slice bread and butter with 2 veg slices and then we had pic-a-mix tea at 4 which i loaded my plate up and said he can help him self! lol so he's actually eatten today just took loads of stuff of my plate! :D
went out today and took his new sledge with us! :D just by his school theres a HUGE playin feild and you hvae to go down a bank to get to it (either the path or the actual bank! lol) so i sent him down there a fair few times! first time i told him he's got to hold on to the sides we counted to 3 and he was adiment he wasnt goin to do it so in the end i just went 3 and pushed him down the hill! he was LAUGHIN his little head off! :D thrugherly enjoyed that! lol so we did that bout 20 times then walked round the feild and a few more gose down the bank and headed off home! lol He's got £10 christmas money so tomorrow i told him we'll go in to town and can spend it in the games shop see if he can pick up a new DS game! realised that we'v not been in to town since last thrusday! :O haha! (ok i know it's been christmas and bank hols today!!!) so shall see what open and what's not tomorrow! lol hope the games shop is open ... kinda gettin board of Thomas hero of the rails music now! lol
Right! :) goin to head off again! it's just chucked it down with RAIN! :O so gues it'll be all slushey tomorrow or totally all gone! shall see when we get up in the morning!

Hi hatz. The sledge sounds like great fun. Certainly your son thinks so! For the DS, have you thought about getting a R4. Online, you can get one for about £20, then you can download the games. Depending on the size of the memory in the R4, you can get lots of games on it. C had one, and it held 60 games, but we've managed to lose it!!! I was going to get one for Christmas, but couldn't afford it. They are sooooooo well worth having though. Saves lots of money in the long run, as you can also delete and then put new games on.
I'm so glad he's enjoyed the sledging!
i'm waiting for a mate to come on line so can talk to him as he's mentioned before bout R4 cards and that he can get them sort them all out and everything (also goin to talk to him see if he can get me a cheap DS!) so yup just waiting of me mate! lol
well total change to what i did have planned and now i'm at a total loss! we were talking when went to my bros about my C stayin the night one night round his and this morning when i woke up he turned to me and said I stay uncle Al's now? i was like we'v got to wait for him to answer his phone before you can just go round there! lol then when we got sorted out and gettin breakfast sorted i asked him what he wanted to eat for his breakfast and he said i have dinner breakfast (beans, eggs, toast etc) at uncle al's! i had to laugh bless him! told him again we'v got to wait for uncle al to get up out of bed yet before we can talk to him about you goin round! Then my brother phoned thru and i got the phone so told him that his nephew wants to come round and stay so he said well were on our way out can go past yours in bout 10 mins get him and he can come round ours! lol so i'v been little man free since 11am! after 20 mins of him being out the house we all (me, my step dad, my uncle, my mum) sat down looked at each other and was like OK NOWWWWWWW what do we do! haha!!!!!!!!!!!! so we had a very weird half hr cracked open a bottle wine (cider!) and then decided we'd make a MEGA big dinner! haha! so thats all we did!!! ate that watched a few films that's been on today and now's now really! lol phoned thru to my bro to see how he was and everything and all's good! aww i said good night to him and he was like why you say good night? so i said that i couldnt give him a kiss and cuddle so sayin it now on the phone and he turned round and said i can give the phone a kiss and a cuddle! :D and he did! :D so that cheered me up big time! i gues he's all tucked up for the night and is sleeping well so shall see what the morning brings! :D
not aranged the coming back time or anything so see what me bro wants to do! altho i have just arranged a dinner date with one of my OLDEST friends there is around at the moment! lol was my best friend in primary school and she's visiting now for a few days! :D so hopefully can get to catch up with her!

hehe! he wouldnt stop cuddlin me then it got to the point of ok thats enought i'v really got to get sorted out and he still wouldnt let me go! lol kids ay!
had a REALLY good dinner it was really good to catch up with my friend and my lad was 90% a good boy too lol finely decided on curly fries for him and i had same with a cheese and mushroom melt baguette! :) was rather YUM! lol then hit the shop and me dad gave me £50 voucher for xmas so i went and blew it in the sales! hehe! brought LOADS of things! i'v got a new pair jeans and 2 new shirts and i brought the little man 4 new pairs of jeans and 2 jumpers! :D (actually came to £67 but as had the voucher i only spent £17 on a HUGE bag full of clothes!) :D just got to invest in some new trainers and hopefully i'll be set up for the yr!!!
might have to pop mr man down to the drop in centre tomorrow one of his stiches still havent come out and it's lookin a bit pussy so think it's got to be looked at by some one and after my lovely (hum what would you call it???) encounter??! with our health centre thinkin of goin a bit higher up than them selfs! lol so drop in clinic in loughbrough (well me mum's headin that way tomorrow so she can drop us off and we will walk round the corner to the town! lol)

My lot had some new clothes before Christmas for stupid holiday that never happened, but I have to say they did need them!

after hoping my mum would take us to the drop in centre and she sayin she will do ... in the morning she said there was no point 
so not sure at all about whats goin to happen or anything so yeh just goin to have to wait and see now i guess! it's not as red as it was and it seems not to be puffy any more but these things do tend to come and go so will just have to wait and see! stich STILL in :(
well seems today has been the BEST day in a long time for his eating! dinner he ate a pack crisps 1/2 slice bread and butter a fried egg (white! he dosent like the yellow bit!) and 2 sausages :O then at tea he's eaten err! thinking! lol pretty much a full slice of pizza baguette and a sliver of my mushroom pizza! bout a dozen wedges and salad :D which he helped make! :D got him cuttin up mushrooms and cucumber and he even tore up the lettice! :D so were getting back to where we were! lol
well today we poped out to town to get a few things from the shops well dinner tonight and a bag of ice lol then was just a few things that we didnt need but the things you end up buying any ways! lol ended up spending £15 :O 2 bags of things! lol ah well me step dad gave me the money! whoop! hehe!
sooo hows every one's new year goin so far???? mine. .. pretty good really! everything's picking up now so really happy! going to pop down paper shop some point .. or try catch the chaps on there run round with our papers see if theres any jobs going round here! a couple extra quid in me pocket would be nice! me dad phoned me the other day for something so got to see what he wants tomorrow! me step dad wants me to clear part of the dump out in the garden (just a corner where everything has been dumped!!!) so we can get a shead up and get lil man's land rover in it so can have it to hand! then Thursday it's back to school and i start working OFFICIALLY! :D whoop whoop! :D my uncle's still here and think he's here till part way thru next week some point so that'll be nice and I THINK me parents taking him back and staying down on the isle of weight for a few nights too! and just to really top the books for this year! i'm goin to book my HOLIDAY! :D was goin to do it last yr but thought i better buy some chirstmas pressies rather than pay for my holiday! lol xxx

well! ended up down drs today with my son. ... last night he stubbed his toe on the hoover and screamed blue murder managed to calm him down and settle him down with lots of cuddles and everything, but this morning when he woke up his plaster was soaked with what i thought was blood so i took it off but then saw that it wasn't blood it was lovely green puss! :( so took him down drs after an hr off tryin to get thru to him, then phoned hospital who told me to phone NHSDIRECT who told me that it sounds like an infection and should get him seen too as soon as but still have time to play with! So i phoned thru a few more times to our drs and gave up phoned me mum to say i need to get to loughbrough with his foot and she said just go down drs and talk to them directly! So went down and got him an appointment at 2:45pm and it was like 12 so decided to go home get some dinner and everything.
so when it got round to our appointment all of 5mins waiting time and 5 mins with the nurse i was back out with a slip to say he needs anti biotics cuz of an infection in the wound :( grrrrrr! if only my mum took us to the drop in centre the other day .. ok would have been in same perstion as in now but would be couple days ahead! and it prob wouldnt have got as bad as it is now! :(
On the plus side stich has come out in tonights bath but i still have to cover it due to infection and at the moment it's an open wound cuz there's 2 small wholes where the stich was! ANDDD it still hurts him :( So here's hopin the next couple days he'll be fine and it'll clear up and be less pain full! but i think this is something he's goin to remember about later in life and his toe is goin to be sensitive no matter what now!
Glad you have got some treatment, it will start getting better now. His toe won't neccessarily always be sensitive, it will take a few months for the operation site to be completely healed. Hope he improves as the day goes on, hatz

me too! at the moment ...ok it's closed compleatly now! ... but it's bright red, puffy and all the skins comin off .. altho that did happen with the other one too! (skin comin off that is!) but i just didnt seem as bad as this one is!
well school tomorrow and the monster thats gone to bed disguised as my son! is sure not givin in :( he ended up havin a nap earlier so that could be a big reason as to why but as he was up before 8 this morning and he's not use to it yet he was flagging very much so! :( so he ended up havin a nap i'v just kept on top of him putting him back in his bed and what not straight away with out sayin a word to him so hope he's got the message!
just goin to have to deal with one VERY tired boy in the morning as we have to be up at 7:30 at latest to get ready for school and out the house an hr later to get to school on time! lol so this could be fun tomorrow! (as will be 90% of other parents in leicestershire!!! lol)
well i'm in for a long night really! got to take decs down and everything tonight, would do it tomorrow but as i'm goin to be out the house from when i take son to school till 1:20pm ish tomorrow it's not goin to leave me much time at all! so it's got to be done tonight :'( officially the dned of Christmas when it all comes down :'(

aww thanks :) we managed it! lol ... today was the worse day tho! haha just couldnt get motivated to get out of the house and it was snowing :( but some how we made it to school on time too! lol (just hope he's remembered he's got dinner money today!)
well i had an eye test yesterday .. and it's not good news! for the past 6 yrs my left eye has only changed a little bit! but my right eye has been gettin steadily worse :( and he was telling me that when i get my new glasses i'v got to wear them all the time .. which i don't mind as i do prefer to wear glasses! lol but i had a bit of a joke with him and as he i'v got to wear them all the time then went on to say ... but you don't have to take my advice! i said i do tho else i go blind in my right eye! and he said YES. very seriously :( so thats how bad things are with my eyes :( my left eye is doin all the work while my right eye just sits there and dose nothing! so i just CANT wait till the end of the month when i can get the new lenses in my old frames and start seein properly again! lol
ah well lol my eyes just reverting back to the old days! as when i was at achool i ues to have to wear glasses all the time due to the fact i had odd eyes! long in one and short in the other! and the teacher in yr 4 use to wonder why i couldnt read the board!
well i'v got to get goin! need to straighten my hair and get sorted out for school :) just asked my son's teacher about becomin a reading parent and she said brill! :) so friday afternoons after my shift i'll be reading with the chidren! :) starting next friday and i hope i can get in to do a lot lot more after that! hehe!

Hi hatz. I know it's not good news about your eyes, but at least it's getting sorted. Just got to wait for new lenses. Hope your son's toe is on the mend. Poor little fella. I think the first week of school is always the worst. Getting back into a routine and everything, then the excitement of it all for them, (well for some kids anyway). I'm still finding it a struggle to get out of the bed, as well as C, but we've managed to get there on time!!!
I do reading with the children too, and it's great. Next week, I shall be doing some maths with them too, which I'm sure will be good too. With a bit of luck, you might land yourself a job at the school, paid I mean, rather than volunteering. I know you are doing the lunchtimes, so a few more hours would be great.

That must have been a shock at the optician's, and thank heavens you went and got his advice, you will feel much better for getting the new lenses.
Hope that your snow hasn't been too bad (it is very snowy up here in Yorkshire) and that you and your son will have a lovely weekend
aww our snow got rained away 2hrs later :( but least it's not thick and were not having the kids tryin to claim snow! haha!!! (yes they want to claim the snow! ... they'v took my snow ball! etc!) and so now we have no snow at all!
we went to see the gruffalo child at theater today! :) it was really good! (for us adults as well as the kids!) everyone in it ... i say everyone! ... there was only 3 people acting it out! but they were wicked! did all the parts really well and my mr man enjoyed it too! was a bit worried at start! there was another child and his mum at end of our row and the show started off with the gruffalo snoring his head off and this child SCREAMED and started balling!!!!!! bless him! lol but he soon stopped so wasn't too bad! lol
but it was really good to watch it all they got the story line just right and added a few things in to make it a bit longer! and just everything about it was really good! :)
well i'm goin to head off now! not feeling 100% today (once a month i hate being a women!) i know TMI!))

We have thick ice up here. The national forecasters keep appearing saying how much milder it is and we are freezing!

bloody job centre :( 
(need i say more! lol) go in to town to get my money out only to find that it aint gone in :( and it hasn't done since ... wait for it! ... 29th december :O just before xmas i got a letter sayin it'll be stopped then the next day i got one sayin i'l be getting £45.?? so thought wicked! it don't matter that it's been stopped then cuz getting this new one and the letter said it'll be paid in to bank same as befor! so not needed to do anything bout it! go to bank today and find i'v got no money (well i got 54p!) and so did a mini print out and find job centre have not paid me! so i phone them and talk to them... as you do in middle of town with your uncle next to you! lol ... but i found out that i need to be re-assessed to get this new money. Now not no where in the letter did it say this, it just said that it'll be paid in to bank!
So i'm now sat here with no a penny to my name i'v got things i need to post, i'v got to some how get to coalville to get to the job centre to sign on and now to sort this mess out (mess is an understatment i would use poop tbh!) and thankfully i introduced my uncle to my son's teacher so he can go pick cam up from school! while i'm out sorting this mess out which Job centre has left me in :( aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i really cant deal with this today :( last hing on the books i needed!
Benefit money seems to be really screwed up at the moment hatz. I do hope you can get it sorted. Perhaps they will give you 'emergency' money, as they can't possibly expect you to live on nothing. Good luck with it all.

Well go in this afternoon and had chat to them bout things and before the actuall meeting i had a chat to the lady that was doin sign in with me, and i said what was what and she said to me why was i not claiming Income suport?? I just said to her well i don't actually know what i can claim and what i can't so i just went with what you guys said really! and as they said this was the one to be on that's what i did! and she told me a bit more bout it and i was like bl**dy hell thats a lot better than what i'm doing now! So she gave me a form to fill in about my job and all that! then i went and clocked in for the meeting with a chap! so cuz i was early he gave me another form to fill in! and actually managed it! lol so filled in these forms and the chap finished of the one bout me job for me! hehe! :D then he turned to me after lookin on his computer and said you'v got a child haven't you so said yup and even he said why arent you claiming income suport!? so told him what told the other lady and he was like right! up till your child is 7 you can claim income suport and you wont have to come in every 2week to sign on and all that :O !!
So i'v signed off job seakers and got to phone income suport people tomorrow and make a new claim for that then i'll be starting claiming income suport and just have to go in every now and then when they want me to and talk to the loan parent person see how things goin and to check things havent changed and all that!
So were just bout there. Nothing was mentioned about emergency money i tried to bring it up with them but he just side tracked and went off then i forgot all bout it :( but there we go! me step dad just gave me £10 to get tea for tomorrow and so i'll see what happends after that i guess!
might pop up and see my dad as he's got a printer for me! and prob end up with another tenner in my hand from him! lol we can all but see!
Must remember to phone people tomorrow and get the ball rolling! :)

If you come really unstuck you can call income support and ask for the number for crisis loans, they are interest free but do have to be paid back, the only problem I could maybe forsee is the length of time you need to be on benefits to claim any loans(I am sure Louise will have the answer to that one)

i did not realise you were not on Income Support already! Of course your earnings will be deducted from the weekly amount (although you can keep the first £20 a week of your earnings) but as long as you declare what your income will be and you work less than 16 hours a week then you can claim. I know that you were talking about finding some more work at some stage but you need to bear that hours thing in mind,
There is no minimum time on benefit in order to apply for a Crisis Loan as far as I am aware. Look here for more details about loans. Hopefully today the IS people will be able to give you an idea of how long before a payment comes through and then you can calculate whether you need a loan or not

Well phone thru to I/S today and have put claim in and got to go j/c on friday to sign off what i'v told them and everything! the lady i was talking to did say bout crisis loan and gave me the phone number for it! but it's just the having to find the money at the end to give it back to them! (and the fact i'm already payin off one loan with the bank (altho they don't know about that bank!)) so i don't want to have to owe too much money to too many people!
Dose any one know about claiming things eg my glasses with I/S? my step dad keeps telling me when i'v got it and everything i should get my glasses now for free?? is that true or is it slightly different now???? (don't worry if you don't know! i'll find out on friday!) cuz if i do get them free it's going to help me out no end!
really cant wait for things to be sorted out 100% (well if not 100% then at least 80%! lol) :D and i only got another 17 more days till i get paid! hehe ... altho! lol (lot of those words in this post today!!) i will have to give some to my mum to help things alongwith her as she's faceing march with not knowing if she's goin to have a job or not in april :( really don't want to see her with out a job, so i'v kinda got to get my self sorted out so can start helping her out again!
well i'v finished my shift for today FREEZING cold and tryin to thaw out a bit in a house that's only a couple degrees or so warmer than out side! lol ah well got the washin up to do in a mo or so so will warm up that way! hehe! :)
