Hi, I'm new to the site and was hoping that someone may have some info. on single parent groups/get togethers near Portsmouth - not to fussed about having to travel a little. I've been a SP for 6 months now and find it hard to get out and meet people as feel that everyone else is in a couple/family unit. If anyone's got any info that would be great. Anything from group to people near by who are likeminded x

I live in Portsmouth and am single mum and... I am looking for any kind of SP meet-ups, support groups etc. I am new to onespace.org.uk and i found it very interesting already :)

I seem to have missed your post about groups in Portsmouth, many apologies.
I have jsut been speaking to someone at Park Futures, have you heard of them? They don't hold single parent groups as such, but there is a lot going on there and many of the parents are raising their children alone.
Their number is 02392 242 4980.
I will keep rooting around and let you know if anything else comes up.
