rant rant rant rant rant!
this morning starts with my step dad waking my son up which in turn woke me up! i shall put that this was at 5:30 this morning :( :O yes ... 5:30AM. then boy's being boy's he needed a wee so went down stairs just as my step dad was leavin the house and he locked the door (that he usely dose!) so i thought thats good cuz will mean my son will drop back off to sleep for the 2hrs (ish) till 7! ...... BUT NOOOOOOOooooooooooooo of course not! he comes back with this TV that he's been goin on about for the past 6 months that every time he's said he's got the tv for me son i'v said he's not having a tv in his bed room! EVERY SINGLE BLEEDIN TIME! so when he walks back in with it this morning ... please do bear in mind that it was 5:30 in the morning! (who walks back in at that time of morning knowing that there grandson is still meant to be asleep and everything walks in with a bloody telly and says thats your telly) so at that point of course my son gose from sleepy to wide a bleeding wake :( so that was it really! i shoed my son back up stairs tellin him that the tv wasn't his and grandad wasn't meant to bring it home! the tv got dumped on my settee of which when i got back up at 6:50 i dumped it on his settee. and that was it till he got home (he being my step dad!) then he turned to me and said what's that telly still doin down here. it's meant to be in his room ... of which i did nearly flip my lid but i got as far as i did tell you ... and my mum butted in sayin we'll have a chat in a bit! so as i had my dinner they had there's together and i guess that my mum talked to him telling him that i didn't want to have a tv in my son's room and i'm not goin back on my word! so he's dumped it on the floor behind the settee for now!!!!
so after this morning could me day get any worse!? ... well looking back on it no! but at the time yes! i gues i was still just stressed really and tired but it seemed as tho all the kids were on the friday HIGH and all HYPER! chucking them selfs on the floor, jumping on top of each other, fighting, falling out with each other, telling on each other, and everything else! so yes at the lunch time hr at work all i was doin was shouting GET UP OF THE FLOOR and sorting little problems out between friends. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I LOVE WORK really! lol (nah really i do it has it's day's i shall say!) lol
after my shift on fridays i become a reading mummy! so i read with the kids in my son's class which is really good! :) enjoy that more so on a friday and it takes all afternoon off me :) looked thru the books in every one's bags and had a sneaky peek at a few of the spellings books too (just to see if my son's on about the same level as everyone else!) which he just about is! lol
least this rant ends on a good note! lol am totally drained and shattered now! my step dad just woke up and came down stairs saw i was watching embarasing bodies and said your not watching this rubbish again are you? of which i said it's embarasing bodies! and he got his folder and went back up stairs! haha! least he's out my hair tonight! xxx any ways got to sort ebay out! 1 item finishing today and 4 tomorrow! :) whoop! chat laters xxx
Hi hatz. Not a great start to the day then!! Glad you stuck to your guns. Your step father should respect the fact that you don't want your son to have a tv in the bedroom. I'm sure though he is only thinking of you. Keep smiling. x
lol deffently stuck to my guns with it and will do for a few years to come! my step dad wants my son to have a tv so he can watch his dvd's in his bedroom, so basicly means that my step dad dosent want to watch my son's dvd's! and as i pointed out that actually we don't watch that many dvd's as most the stuff that we watch is what we'v recorded on the tv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but there we go!
no wasn't a great start to yesterday but at least today has been a lot better for a number of reasons!!! :D i have saved me self £10 so i could take my son down town and get a few things with out raiding what i'm saving up in my bank so can pay for holidays and meeting my friend next week in nottinham! (so long she don't decide to have her baby!!! hehe! (she's only got about another 3 weeks left!)) but any ways i thought i'd check my account to see what was in there and found a LOT more than what i thought there was :O :D WHOOOOOOOOOOPP!!!! so took a bit extra out and did a bit of spoiling! hehe! got home to find my letter from I/S and they'v FINELY got it all sorted and i'm now claiming I/S :D only taken 1 month and 1 day to get it to me! :O but at least it's here now!
Right i'v got to go! being kicked off by my son!!! (it's the weekend he has a couple hrs on my computer!!!) so i'v said that yes he can have it just got to wait for me to finish first!!!!!!!! x chat to you laters x

Did you call into the housing department at the council to see if they're able to help with being added to the housing list?
Better late than never hatz with the money. At least you now know it's all sorted, so you can relax a bit on that side of things.
well my mum came home with the paper work for me to fill in and now have got this letter saying i'm claiming I/S I can now collect the rest of my things together and take it all in :D so it was the final bit of paper work i was waiting for really! just got to find mine and my son's passports out, they needed prof of income x2 (which got!) and a bill of some sort so prob use my Orange phone bill! but will go in loaded with paper work then they can sort out what they want to take really! lol (that way i know i'v got at least what they ask for and not go in and find i'v missed something out!) so some point this week i'll be goin in with everything and getting my name down on the list for a house! :D WHOOP WHOOP!!! i know it'll take some time to get a house and what not but it's the place to start! :D
Right i'v got to do one more thing before i log off compleatly! so i'm heading of from here till tonight!!! :) chat laters x
You're lucky hatz if you manage to get a house. I guess it all depends what area you live etc. Good luck with it all, glad you've managed to get the paperwork together.
well council now go on a point systum, so you fill in paper work and they sort it out as to how many points you gain to what you have said on the papers! then you get a password to one of there systums and they got a list of every house that is goin in our area and we can click on a house and say right we would like to live there, they got a date which that house choice finishes by and they then look thru and sort out who's who and whats what! so say if i get 30 points and someone clicks and they got 70points then they will get the house as they got more points than what i have got! so it's a bit of a lottery thing now put in your bid and you may or may not win! but will mean you can choose the house and area you want rather than what it use to be ... these are the 3 choise you choose one of them or nothing and you have to start again!!!
But i know it can take some time to get a place on the list so just got to sit tight and see what happends and when! :)

Hi hatz. Council housing can take years. Can you not find a property where the landlord accepts those on benefits? My niece has done it this way, as she was made homeless when her partner left her. They had bought their own property, but she couldn't keep it with two children. Council list was too long, so she went out and found a flat. What are your plans for today? Does your son finish school on Friday?
yeh i know it can take some time on council list but with there new systum in place they have cut the waiting lists down a bit so hopefully wont be too bad, I'v not got any savings or any actual cash to be able to get my own place and to find some one that will actually take people on that have benifits is really hard round here! (altho i don't know why cuz will mean they DO actually get at least 1/2 the rent a month with out fail cuz 90% of the time it gose striaght to them!) but there we go!!!
plans for today ... well we went swimmin earlier which we'v not done since before Novemeber last yr! :O (think it might have even been september time due to starting school and that!) lol but it seems to be that my son's not forgoten how to swim and is actually better than he was before!!! so i'm impressed with him for that! :D hehe! we then popped up to the pub for dinner! :) which were both now rather STUFFED! hehe! I had a mushroom and cheese melt baguette with some chips and my son had chips and egg! and as he ate 90% of it i said he could have some ice cream! so he said he wanted the smarties ice cream (of which he meant ice lolly one) so when the one that we thought he meant turned up he was a bit dissapointed, they served another one that is choc ice cream with vanilla choc chip peices in it and covered in mini smarties! (which i'd say is actually a lot nicer than the other one!!!) but we had a few tears cuz it wasn't the one that he wanted so i said i didn't realise you were on about the lolly one sorry darling but we cant take it back now, he then said that he didn't like the 2 small stars that were on top, so i said that's ok we can soon sort that out and took them off and for the first time EVER! he actually changed his mind and ate the ice cream that he got! ... half way thru it he stopped and said actually mummy i LOVE the 2 stars and put them back on his ice cream and ate them up as well!!!!!!!!!!!! :O I sure told him that i was impressed how much a big boy he was for changing his mind and eating the ice cream he was given :D
we then popped down to the shop and brought a few things there and as it was raining and heavy bags and wet hair! i decided to grab a taxi to get home! hehe! parents have gone out for the afternoon for there relaxing sunday dinner! that they seem to have done the last 3 sunday's on a trot! hehe! so it's nice with just me and the monster here!
and yup only 5 more days at school then were off for a week! :D WHOOP! :D got a few things planned for that week thankfully! hehe goin to see me mate in Nottingham one day and have promised my son we'll go to burton and to the zoo that week so we'v at least go 3 days planned! nottinham is deffently FIRST! lol
Right! i'm goin to head off for a bit! got to wash my hair and sort out our swimming things!

I guess that is one of the difficulties of living with parents: that they might have different idea of what should happen in the house, to you. At least now you have started to put feelers out towards living independently and will then be able to make the household decisions!
