Isn't it amazing! it is here in North Wales anyway, it's like being in the Mediterranean. Over the last few days rather than take the kids to breakfast club we've just got croissants and gone and played in the play park by the beach till nine instead...
Yesterday the wind was so warm.
Some pics of my hippy children playing Titanic around the climbing frame in our local park.
I know... his trousers! ones that used to scrape along on the floor are now about five centimeters from his shoes.
It's been fabulous, hasn't it.
So nice to be able to make the most of it too - and be able to actually get to a beach without too much competition...
Just got back from a day at the beach, don't mean to gloat or anything :D My kids built a sand pirat ship and waited for the tide to come in.
It was like being in Greece, but cheaper.

I used to do that when I was little, and with my lot when they were small!
If I could I still would... I bet you had a fantastic day.

I have no rain, no clouds and 28 degrees down here in Kent! HA!!!
27 here, but I'm indoors, looking at what needs doing. Just looking though hehe.
Bucketing and according to accuweather the temperature is 16 degrees.
It never actually got horrid hot here, just lovely.
It got too hot for me in Yorkshire, but then I think I was in a minority of one

I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this weather( it means I don't feel cold and have to put any heating on,)....I tend to really feel the cold, and it gets into my bones, and I can then only warm up by having a hot bath....
I think i actually got a bit of a sun tan at the carboot today....I wish it could be like this all year!
I wish it could have lasted at least another couple of weeks...
I remember when my Dad was alive (he died in 1991) and summer went on well into October and it was beautiful. We were swimming in the sea most days.
I think it has stopped raining here.

Having said that, I preferred last week's weather than what we have today.

Leaves are flying past the window here in the gale. At least they're not being hammered down by torrential rain. Yet.
I'm back to thinking its going to be a looooongggg winter.
