What do you think about girls under 16 and the pill?

I'm not sure if this is something that applies to you or you'd feel comfortable talking about - but I'm working for a women's weekly magazine and we want to interview mums (aged 35 to 60) whose underage daughters/stepdaughters are on the contraceptive pill for a sensitive, serious magazine feature. We can pay a fee to all those interviewed.

We're interested in speaking to mums who knew about it and took their daughter to the doctors to ask for it with their consent - as well as mums who discovered their daughter/stepdaughter had decided to go on it when they came across her pills accidentally.

We want to find out how you feel about it, whether it worries you or makes you feel less worried, and what your feelings about their daughter/stepdaughter being underage and potenatially sexually active.

If you can help with this request at all, please email ljmacbeth@googlemail.com with details of your situation, how old your daughter/stepdaughter is, and when she went on the pill. We'd want to identify you in the feature and we could pay you a fee for taking part.
