Bookstart - Sheffield
Bookstart is a National programme that encourages parents and carers to share and enjoy books together with their children from a very early age.
The aim of Bookstart is to provide every baby in Sheffield with a Bookstart pack to inspire, stimulate and create a love of reading and to show that books are fun!
The first Bookstart pack is designed for babies from between 6 - 12 months, Bookstart plus is for toddlers aged between 18 months - 30 months and the Treasure Chest is available for children aged 3-4 years.
Bookstart and Bookstart plus packs are available from local Sheffield libraries, health visitors and local education services. Treasure Chest packs are available through your child's early years setting (nursery, playgroup etc).
Bookstart packs are also available in dual languages.
