The Selby Centre brings together a rich mix of individuals and organisations, primarily from BME, refugee and other historically excluded communities in Tottenham, Haringey, North London and beyond.
They centre projects include:
Community Development - Leads on partnership projects and engaged community organisations into networks.
Community Economic Development - provides help in setting up small and medium enterprises, removes debt barriers to enterprise, empowers individuals to manage money, offer information and prepare businesses to be fit to acquire local government contracts, coordinates volunteer programmes to ensure skill transfer.
They aslo have a 'Global Garden' on site, where local people can learn how to produce and prepare a diverse range of organic foods in an engaging holistic enviroment.
