hi well my sons shoulder as cum out agian, so hes at hospital now, his grandad as took him, he s in pain, ive bin sortin my sons exmas present out, gets delivered and installed next week, they wil av to av it early so it can b installedx hope everyone ok, its so cold today

H is much better now and went back to school yesterday.

aw thank you sky flower my son ok, his shoulder poped bk in at the hospital, avin quiet weekend, got my malibu tonight, treat myself to glass or 2 with pepsi max and ice, what are ur plansx
I am glad they could help him but it all sounds awful for him, sounds good to me, a malibu
my son is having a sleepover tonight I have to pick him up so that's no sleep of course as teenagers do not go to sleep before 5, I have bought pop and candy and crisps, they can watch movies, do gaming and I sneak off into the bedroom with a book and iPad, might bring a glass of Baileys too !

I have the first aid training tomorrow, and will need to do some food shopping, Sunday i'm sitting in front of telly with a pile of ironing. The Christmas presents are a secret Louise.

Thank you for your welcome Hazeleyes; it is good to make friends here as most of us are in circumstances that friends cannot connect with....how are you, I don't know you yet but sometimes we can move on fast and other times circumstances keep us in a place where eventually we grow out of but it takes longer.
Sally, the sleepover is not over yet and the house looks like a bomb fell on it ! They slept 2 whole hours, no surprise !
Kiera, so great to have their Christmas present soon as your son obviously can't do much with that shoulder and must be in pain. A worry when it keeps happening too ! After it is healed, can't they give some physiotherapy to make the muscles around it stronger so it won't pop out again ?

Great to see it busier in here, Hazeleyes it's always fab to hear from you, I don't think your life is static, especially the changes that will happen in September, eek, scary when they do things, I feel that about the TA too and hope so much he never signs up properly, it has brought home two things to me a. they make their own decisions and b. now he is grown-up he consults his girlfriend, sometimes before me, that's quite a big change that will happen more over time.

My Autumn evening was fab, the lady was an excellent hostess and kept control of everything so there was no raucousness. Mind you, I arrived and she had cooked a three course meal!!!! it was only 2 hours since I had my tea, I had had a small one expecting there may be nibbles at the party but I ate a starter and (thankfully light) main course and said I was too full for pudding, which was true. We played some games as well...she was threatening Twister but we got away with less strenuous things, and I won the game of "guess what autumn object I am?" (I was an acorn!!)
Well done Mrs Acorn! Glad you enjoyed your evening. Perhaps your son spke to girlfriend before you, as he knew how upsetting it would, even though you probably didn't show how truely upset you were. It would break my heart if C signed up. I do hope you have lots of friends supporting you xx
I've just met up with a friend for a luxury hot chocolate while her son was in an art course... Rather nice, and a change of scenery.
It's a dreary day, weatherwise, which seems to suit my mood!

Hazeleyes, I was talking yesterday with a lady whose son is at Uni on an army scholarship and who is about to go to Sandhurst and we were able to share our feelings, which helped. I think my son was a bit wary about telling me, his girlfriend actually told him he could not put it off any longer. I put a brave face on it when he told me. My overall feeling is that he will finish up not going in the end (*buries head in sand*)
What are you all up to this evening? I have stopped being an acorn and am now a potato (of the couch variety )

Youngest and I cleared the shoe cupboard out this afternoon. So many shoes they've grown out of. Few fit for the charity shop, rest have filled the dustbin. Cupboard does look good.
Watched Wales beat Argentina in rugby and then went into work at 6pm for a few hours. Trying to keep busy and hopefully tired enough to go to sleep.
I can now have a lie in tomorrow if I want to...
Hello sparkling, hope you got a good sleep. The cupboard sounds a real achievement. Our coat rack is always the awful thing here and I make a fuss about it then realise that most of the stuff is mine

Morning all. louise, we're not that fussed about X Factor anymore, so can take it or leave it really. C helped me design a new kitchen yesterday. Finally had the letter to say they will be coming round in two weeks. That day I shall have to do colour scheme and design! Anyhow, I got so carried away with how many cupboards etc that I completely forgot worktops. My design has no room for them, so back to the drawing board for us!!!
no plans here Louise. How about you? Are you going to church? Hopefully you'll have a chilled and relaxing day.
Planning the kitchen sounds like fun!
I'm trying to decide whether or not to go to the gym. Working tax credit computer decided that there had been a change in my circumstances, so didn't receive them this week... Nice chap on the phone when I phoned at the beginning of the week, but still not in the bank. Every penny counts until that's sorted.
Anyhow, I've pulled my achilles tendon, so thinking resting it might be better. Not an excuse, as I do enjoy going now. I'll probably do more tidying, actually. I seem to be in the mood to do some.

Went to church but that's all I have done as feel a bit tired and achey so telly and sofa seemed like the best bet. That's my excuse anyway

So sorry to hear that Kiera, it seems they can't get it right for him I do so hope they can balance his meds out, what is it doing to him having his shoulder all the time out like that? How is he coping with it, are they giving him some pain killers?

We've had a lovely day here. After ironing, played games on playstation and on the laptop. I've (at last) gradually learnt not to stress too much over the housework. As long as its tidy, homework is done, then I keep my side of the bargain with the games.

Had a good weekend, Dinner at a friends on saturday night for her birthday. Another friend came over on sunday and we all went to the cinema to see Gravity.
Great to hear about your kitchen hazeleyes, its very exciting.
Sparkling I remember pulling my Achilles tendon, it was sooo painful, resting was the only way to cure it, and loads of anti-inflamitarys.
Sorry your son has been in hospital again Keira, it must be a great worry for you.

Have to go to work today I just feel I can't do it as I am waiting for it to all come down on me. I really try hard to relax and be cheerful for the kids and then I go for a walk and I just can't stop crying.
Big hugs skyflower, I remember feeling like that. The walk from the car park to my office would be my time to gee myself up for the day ahead. You will get through it.

hi well my son as bi to fracture clinic today, he as to see a specialist who specialises inshoulders, his shoulder is damage, shame, wait for the appointment cum thru
so sorry to hear about your son, I wish they could help him better Kiera, maybe the specialist can do a lot better for him, I really hope so

Good morning! Where has the time gone - it seems ages I've been here. Still very busy working. Because our department is usually fully staffed, one of us will get taken off to work elsewhere when a ward/department is really short. So I've been doing a lot on A&E (I don't mind A&E - it's when I am sent where I really don't know that I don't like it). So I was on A&E and had to admit a friend who was having a bleed on the brain. He went up to London later and hopefully will be ok.
Had this week off and have been very busy seeing people. I have also been trying to sort out my paperwork - what a nightmare!
