Pansy,
thank you for making me laugh, everyone looking round at work, laughing to myself.

3 children takes it's toll on the chest, wear them with pride!

I'm still a pert 34/AA, hehe.

Hello Pansy!
they fab at work, will hurt to say goodbye end of next week. More loss in my life. They too far away to see them after I leave.

I did better at badminton, tried more shots, got coached by senior guy. Felt less awkward.
I've hurt my shoulder and right buttock muscle. Muscle has to be able to support my whole weight on one leg and spring down and up. Haven't quite got strength for it yet.

I got one concession at redundancy meeting which was to swap generic training for graphic web training, as I specialise in design for print, which is becoming scarse.

Tonight, am sitting at mum's pretending everything's OK. She has got me a meal today and I feel like a child again. I've cancelled estate agent for tonight. I can't tidy up in time.

Tomorrow I have doctor's appointment. Then I'm getting assessed for laser eye treatment. Getting nervous. They put drops in that mean you can't drive. My satyr dream coming true! I'll be blind! It takes 1.5 hours!

Don't worry about your, er, you know, ladies things, as childbirth does that and is proud sign of motherhood. Guys are lucky in that respect. Anyone who knows you will love you.

I been texting back and forth with Louise today. 2 from her and one from me. Not like her to contact me. We like brat kids. Not all mature and noble like you and your ex. I think I have been meaner this time. sigh. I may reveal my reply, but you will all think less of me...I was hard with her. It was about the water and sewage bill hehe. Will do it later when I feel stronger. She and I so childish. sigh.

Day dreaming, oooh that's so sweet! Sigh, is it romantic things? I do day dream about Satyr lady adventure. Not sure what to do with story though..

Paaaaansy...? Are you having wine tonight? Sob.

OK, new kiss, is a closed eyes kiss, slowly come closer and closer with eyes closed until feel breath and nose, then very gentle touch of lips and slow lingering kiss, all with eyes closed. sigh. Will miss kissing week.

Be back later.

Oh Sy,
you have got so much going on in your life to cope with. you are doing really well you know. And to come on here & help everyone as well, when you are so busy & have so much on your mind, you should feel good about yourself, dont worry about whatever you said to Louise, you will be forgiven here I'm sure, as you seem to get away with anything

I hope you manage to sort out some work, I'm sure you will.

laser treatment sounds good if that is what you want, I hate wearing my glasses (for reading only) so cant imagine what it would be like to have to wear them all the time.

My bathroom looks like a blood bath! I have just put my red hair colour on & it was the colour of blood!
It was everywhere! I called my daughter & shouted 'help me' (Iwas not thinking, she gets anxious) she came in bathroom & could only see floor, did not know I was doing my hair & thought I had cracked my head open or something

Yes, I am day dreaming of romantic things & it is starting to get on my nerves, it is very distracting & is getting a bit ridiculous! It is actually making me cross with myself & I am beginning to think I should join an online dating site or something, find a man friend or not? & get it out my system, but don't think I have the guts to do something like that , as well as the fact that it is just totally stupid of me if I did it, & I know that!

No wine tonight, probably not good idea. maybe tomorrow, it's Friday.

Big huge Pansy kiss for you x (they will stop when you go over to handshakes)

Oh sweetie Pansy,
I've run out of time, I sooo want to chat with you. Sigh.

Thank you for your kind words. Have a happy day tomorrow.
Are you dating so soon? sniff, I'll not hear from you again!

Kiss top lip gently – then surprising increase in suction, pull round room and laugh type kiss

Only 1 day left of kissing week.

No Sy, I dont think I could bring myself to join dating site. So you will have to put up with me for a bit longer I'm afraid.
Enjoying kisses to much anyhow

Hi Sy, I had my vision corrected last december aand it is totally amazing being able to see all the time..I didn't have laser treatment but an implantable lens which stays permanently in your eyes, so similar i think. It was fine had them done a week apart under a local anaesthetic although there was the option of a general one if squeamish!! good luck if you do decide to go for it!!

Oh mousie I have never heard of that treatment, only the laser one that is advertised on TV. I am glad that it has helped. Both my sons wear lenses and glasses (if only they had inherited my eyesight instead of their dad's (SIGH)) and they get really fed up, not just with wearing them but with the constant ordering of leses, trips to the optician etc. I have always wondered what the laser treatment was like.

Hi all, I have never heard of an implantable lens, why did you have that instead? Was it more expensive? For a particular reason, or just what your optician suggested???

I am a contact lens wearer, but I was told by the eye laser clinic woman that my eyes were too bad to do and even if they did do them, I would have to have them done again in 15 years time.

I would love love love to wake up in the morning, open my eyes and be able to see clearly, wow!

I had a friend who had the laser surgery, well she had one eye done, she said it was so painful she wouldn't get the other one down. OOUCH! I am really squeamish about anything to do with eyes, so I guess I decided that I don't want them done anyway!!

Oh gosh, Anna, I didn't get the impression from the TV ads that it was painful. OUCH!

Both my boys have worn glasses from the age of about 6 and now they both wear lenses (sadly didn't inherit my eyesight!) and I know they would love to have laser treatment but I am a bit scared of it for them

Hello,
I had the pre test for laser correction.
The anaesthetic drops sting like hell for 10 secs.
Your eye prescription needs to be very stable to be suitable.

It takes about 20 secs for the actual procedure.
The 29mins and 40 secs is for you to watch Ghostbusters 3 in the lounge and get nervous.

Not sure if I'll have it done with loss of my job. I'm entirely suitable. You can only have it done once in your life.
Either I do the cheap and cheerful version, Lasik for £395 per eye. Or I do the special version, where natural optical imperfections are removed as well (pioneered by NASA all astronauts have it done). I think it was £1800 for 2 eyes. There's 10 month interest free finance. Or credit at card rates on longer repayments (9%apr ish).

If I sign up and default on finance, will they take my eyes away till I pay?

Oh-oh, that sounds a bit worrying  I suppose I wanted to see what the long term implications were before I got the boys involved.

Myself, I like glasses on people but then I don't have to wear them so it is not for me to say

you are so brave.

About the laser eye surgery thing - I looked into it (I don't like wearing glasses and I have to wear either them or contacts all the time as I'm so short sighted) and my brother did too - he very nearly went for it. Then about the same time he started going out with a lovely lady barrister (who I would liked to have had as the next sister in law - shame that one didn't last) who said she had represented so many cases where the laser eye surgery had gone wrong - it put us both off!! :o

A few months ago, I started wearing contacts again as they have come down so much in price since I wore them before, I decided now I could actually afford to. And now that I don't 'have' to wear my glasses all day, I don't 'resent' them as much and am actually quite happy to wear them, say, when I'm having a slobby Sunday at home! Fi x

Hmmm,
statistically, very low percentage of complications, 1%. Most of which are infections from eye rubbing that need stronger antibiotics. If you're a litigation lawyer, you would only see those cases where things had gone wrong, so may be a bit misrepresentative.

Like traffic officers always think people are crashing all the time, because that's all they are asked to attend?

Good to be cautious though.

Hope sun shining on you today :)

Ummm I wonder what age they will start the laser treatment. My 13 yr old will not wear her glasses! & is really short sighted, so I had to get her contacts, but after two weeks of wearing them, she wont wear them either!

I was wondering about laser & how young they would do it. probably really expensive any how.

I had the implantable lenses because eyes too bad for laser treatment! they are permanent so not sure about the 15 years they mentioned to Anna. think the surgery was pretty pioneering for this country as lenses were made in sweden.. had a top consultant recommended to me by my optician. came at the whopping price of £5000 unfortunately (obviously pre husband leaving). did each eye a week apart and went in as an outpatient, chose to stay awake although you did have the option of going under, only took about 20 minutes once he started though, didn't really hurt but a very bizarre experience! i would highly recommend it as I can now see my beautiful daughter when she wakes in the night!..also used to ride my horse (also pre husband leaving..have had to sell him since :( ) not sure what age they start laser but I know they dont like to do it until your eyes have stayed the same for a couple of years!!

Oh mousie,
you lost your horse!

That's heartbreaking. I really miss the horse I rode with. I did dream of her a couple of times.

Once I was sitting on a grassy, treeless hill, the sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze. But I was sad inside. I was looking across the valley. Then I sensed something near, but could not move. I felt her whiskery lips next to my ear and she snuffled me!
I was so happy to see her again! She is called Rose.

Hallo Ficurnow

How absolutely lovely to see you again! You cross my mind and I wonder how life is treating you!

I am a contact wearer, but I can totally relate to your loving wearing glasses on a 'slobby Sunday' at home. Although I have to admit at being a bit shy if going out wearing them, don't know why though!

Mousie, my eyes hadn't changed for quite a few years, but recently they have gone slightly worse again, I wonder if you have to ever change those implants you had?? Or what happens in older age. Not that I have £5000 right now, but maybe one day
