Advises on a whole range of subjects including: Welfare Benefits, Debt, Legal Problems, Consumer Matters, Family Problems, Immigration/Nationality, Access to Education and Health Services and Local information.

Trains volunteers to be community advice workers (usually take on one group a year). Volunteers have opportunities to do the Advice Work Training (AWT) course at Level 2, accredited by the Open College Network.

Also has opportunities for volunteer interpreters, and admin workers – minimum of 3 hours per week. 

The project is particularly interested in applications from local speakers of community languages e.g. Somali, Arabic, Urdu and Punjabi.
