Fawcett is a national organisation that campaigns for equality between women and men in the UK on pay, pensions, poverty, justice and politics.
Bristol Fawcett is the local group for members of the Fawcett Society. It is a campaigning group and members raise awareness of issues such as the impact of government cuts on women and single parents. Bristol Fawcett doesn’t have any staff or offer any service provision but does publish reports on its website and works with local decision makers to bring a gender equality perspective to policies and proposals.
