Community Service Volunteers (CSV) offers a range of outdoor learning programmes for organisations, community groups and individuals in Birmingham.

They provide a wide range of local community-based projects that give people new skills and develops confidence.

The services CSV provide:

  • Transforming the grounds of schools and community centres, offering low-cost high-quality grounds-maintenance services and co-ordinating teams of volunteers to undertake environmental challenges in their local community. 
  • Running a free recycling collection service for used cooking oil, fat and grease called “Grease Lightening”
  • Developing environmental play and learning projects for school
  • Providing volunteer gardening services for older people
  • Helping young people to gain new, practical skills while benefiting local organisations
  • Providing help and advice about starting environmental community projects all over the UK.
