Have got moody and Depressive Sitting Disorder now.

Love this from Pretenders:

Let me inside you
Into your room
Ive heard its lined
With the things you dont show
Lay me beside you
Down on the floor
Ive been your lover
From the womb to the tomb
I dress as your daughter
When the moon becomes round
You be my mother
When everythings gone

And she will always carry on
Something is lost
But something is found
They will keep on speaking her name
Somethings change
Some stay the same

Keep beckoning to me
From behind that closed door
The maid and the mother
And the crone thats grown old

I hear your voice
Coming out of that hole
I listen to you
And I want some more
I listen to you
And I want some more

And she will always carry on
Something is lost
But something is found
They will keep on speaking her name
Some things change
Some stay the same

Let me inside you
Into your room
Ive heard its lined
With the things you dont show
Lay me beside you
Down on the floor
Ive been your lover
From the womb to the tomb
I dress as your daughter
When the moon becomes round
You be my mother
When everythings gone

And she will always carry on
Something is lost
But something is found
They will keep on speaking her name
Somethings change
Some stay the same

Hi everybody

My glasses are never far away...heh heh.

Sadsy what a hectic few days you have had! You may well qualify for legal aid now that the job is over. Re legal advice, we would like to have a legal expert on board, it is case of finding advice from someone unbiassed. I know that this is something we are hoping for in the future.

Louise,
OneSpace would define the terms of conduct surely?

Quote:
it is case of finding advice from someone unbiassed.

Lawyers don't have consciences or bias - they just follow a brief. Conscience not required to be solicitor, they leave them at the door when they go out of house in morning. Is the price they pay for enormous unjustified salary. To be despised and held in contempt by society? That's where OnsSpace comes in - charity work to ease their guilt?

Brief might be:
Choose the most needy onespace members
Offer opinion, not binding advice
Give sources of further information
Believe what you hear
Taylor your language to be accessible
Create factsheets on common issues, for self help

Maybe I'm naive.

Am DSD'ing* at the moment.

Hi all
My visit tomorrow to see my sister has been cancelled. She just rang me to say that the hospital have phoned this afternoon. She has to go tomorrow for an assessment. Could be looking at the operation date anytime now. The consultant said they want to do it as soon as poss, (obviously). My sister sounded very up and positive about things. Will ring her tomorrow to see how things went. Hopefully get to see her sometime this week.
I told her I would have to eat her strawberries, and she said, 'oh, you shouldn't have got them, I know they're expensive'. 'Don't be ridiculous I said, it was buy one get one free'
Please keep her in your prayers for me.

Hi All,
tinking of you & your sister Alison & sending lots of healing thoughts your way.

I just got up really late this morning! to knocking at the door, it was benefit people :o I knew they were coming but had forgot! how embarrasing. They come to check ex is still not here & find out if there is any chance he will come back

I can't get Scotland address from him for solicitor, daughter asked for it to send potos he say send them to his Mum's, so I will have to give solicitor his Mum's address, hope that will be ok.

Daughters song went wrong last night, her backing track had scratch on it & she had to give up, never mind there will be another time.

I am determined to get more of my list done today, Sy, your job is to get out on your bike today! to much staying in house yesterday!

Daughter has DR tonight, she has been back on the anti d's for about two weeks & is seeming much better now, done really well at college yesterday.

Hi Pansy
Glad to hear you are staying on top on things, ie solicitor. There is always a chance that the ex mother-in-law will just re-address it as 'not known as this address'!!! Lets hope not, and she does indeed pass it to him.
Sorry to hear your daughters song didn't go too well. She must have been so disappointed, but I'm sure there will be another chance for her. Great news that the anti d's are kicking in.
Thankyou for your thoughts. I told my sister that I would call her later this evening, but I'm guessing she might be too tired after the tests today to chat. Can't seem to focus on anything right now, so just going to chill out. Have a good day.

Big power moment for him, because it means he can phone me without permission from ex. He doesn't know yet.

Mum says I'm not making enough effort to save house. sigh. Feel so broken and hopeless at the moment.

Had really nice fresh scone and pot of tea and clotted cream and jam. Yum.

Now back in dark house. I have more jobs to do.

I'm impressed with these lists. You are doing brilliantly!

It could be that letting the house go will be a relief...

Kick the espace. That's what I do to mine when I see it (which is very rarely). It doesn't make it work, but it helps me. I then pat it and tell it I love it and wish it would work.

Good idea with the SIM card. I got a mobile each for my older two telling the ex the numbers so he could phone them if he wanted. He said in a mediation session he was too scared to phone the house incase I answered. Something else I won't ever understand...
He never phoned the children on their mobiles either though!

I know those calls must be so hard, but they will matter so much to your children.

I'm on avoidance again - although it's very easy at the moment as I'm hardly in. I've just sent a very reluctant daughter in to see my neighbour (she'll happily come with me) as she has some news about the health of my 'other' neighbour who fell 3 weeks ago (she's 80) and has been in hospital with a cracked pelvis, cracked hip and cracked ribs.

You're doing well.

I spoke to the mechanic who did the clutch hydraulics on Espace and he say to wait till he is back from hols as he say other junior mechanics not to be trusted with it. Is pig to work on. He will pressurise water system to look for leaks. Then advise. If it needs radiator, I'll get one on ebay, as they are £70 as opposed to £170.

Have arranged to go to London on Thursday to see an agency. May try and do another agency whilst I'm up there. I may have to devote much of tomorrow to creating digital portfolio. Loads of rubbish in my portfolio - who would want me?

Why am I so down at the moment? I'm on drugs, surely 40mg of Citalopram should do the trick?

Surely there's a place for me in this world?

Hi all
Just spoke to my sister. She was told today at the assessment that the cancer isn't on the liver. GREAT NEWS. She still has to go for a ct scan for the lungs, maybe tomorrow. She is admitted on Monday, and the op will be on Tuesday, which would have been my Mum's birthday. It was also the day that my Dad had an op for cancer of the gullet, and when we learnt it had spread to the liver. Understandably, she isn't too keen on this date. I can understand her fears, but I have a good feeling that my Mum and Dad will be looking down watching over her. My sister sounded very up, though extremely anxious about the op. Perfectly natural of course.
Hope all having a good evening.

I just couldn't be bothered to go and see my neighbour. I did go in later. I can be pretty immobile. My leg has been awful since before they went back to school. Getting to car varies from about a minute to ten minutes depending on how 'locked' it is. So far, I can drive. For some reason I'm so scared this will stop me driving.

Surfing.
There can be really good surfing conditions around here.

Can get really good waves in the beach above.

Plenty of camping sites on Anglesey - well in North Wales!

It could have been more Tenby way where you went?

I'm sure there are loads of jobs out there for you Sy.

Not sure about for me though!!

I'm a waste of space really. Feely a right scrounger at the mo. Little snippets from people and it makes me feel a right lazy so and so.

Hi everyone
Had the shock of my life this morn, and had to pick myself up off the floor.
I went onto broadband in August, and also had the free calls up to an hour anytime thingy. I was told by two advisors that my bills would be cut considerably. They looked at my previous bills. It sounded great, so I went ahead.
I can't pay my bills outright, so I do it fortnightly on a card. Have nearly finished last quarterly bill, so rang this morn to check the correct amount. I also checked on amount I owe for next month.
It is £50 more that last bill. Have to admit, cried a little, panicked too, then I rang the company. Told them I'd obviously been totally mislead. Rang ofcom who gave me another number for the company. Very nice man, but said, I WOULD notice a difference the next quarter, being after xmas. It was because I started the new plan in the middle of the quarterly bill (if you see what I mean).
I explained that I couldn't possibly pay what I normally do a fortnight, as xmas is coming up.
Hopefully, they will reduce the payment when the bill comes in later this month. I feel totally b..... conned.

Rant over, now going to attack the kitchen floor!!!

OMG!!!

What an awful shock. I'd have cried too.

I hope they sort it out really quickly for you.

I left BT for Sky, and I have to say that I have saved money - but the offer I had ends today, so I'll see what happens next month. I know it won't be more than BT though...

Its so hard on a tight budget.

Loads of hugs Alison.

Hi Sparkling
Have been round the flat popping the last of son's birthday balloons. Released some of the anger and frustration. It is such a struggle, robbing Peter to pay Paul. Xmas is looming, so I think my only option this year is to use a catalogue. Only just finished paying off for my son's bed. It looks great when I do workings out on paper, but it never works out like that. This week, I've had to pay for a school trip, nieces birthday, son's half sisters sisters birthday, (I couldn't leave her out, as she is now part of the family). My son is desperate for a haircut. For the little amount he has cut, it costs £10. (absolute ripoff). I did try the home cutter things when he was younger, but always looked like a blinking bowl had been on his head!
I'm still waiting for results of the blood test, so for now, instead of cereal for brekkie, he has variety of fruit. As you know, that costs. What a life eh?
Still, plenty of people worse off. I do get very envious when some of the kids at school get taken to McDonalds on a Friday for a treat. My son gets taken there every 6 weeks for his treat, and thats if he's lucky!! I was told the other day, that an only child gets spoiled. WHAT!!!!! This came from a woman whose son wears next clothes, shoes etc. Goes swimming once a week, went abroad for a holiday. My son is dressed in Primark clothes, can't afford swimming, and went to Norfolk to see his half sister for our hols! People should learn to think before they open their mouths.
Sorry, am really having a ranting day. Hope you are ok, and feeling better in yourself.
Take care

Alison

Just tuned tv in for digi box or whatever it is. Guess this means my really old tv in the kitchen has to go on the scrapheap now
Going to go to elderly neighbours across the road to re-tune theirs in. Bless em, they keep saying they know what to do, but they think it's the yellow button. Remember when they got their mobiles 6 years ago, I was always in and out of their house. I wrote it down (don't know how many times), but still I was in there. Even now, they still ask for me to sort it out! Well, they are in there 80's. Still, I'll grab a coffee from them ;)
Don't forget to re-tune if you need too.

I find that I'm havin to 'borrow' money off the children. I've told eldest he's having a camera for his 18th - that will be a catalogue. Christmas... No hope this year.- I've nothing saved at all - and I used to be able to save! The hairdresser I go to is pretty good. £5 for the boys and £6 for my daughter and me. I tend to stagger it! Dry cuts.

Mostly the clothes I get are value stuff. I'm lucky in that I can hand a lot down to my youngest. I do get some off ebay too, and they don't mind. I got my daughter Next boots last year for £8. Similar were £80! I bet the seller wasn't impressed. My daughter was though.

I used to get my lot Next and Marks clothes... They've never missed them. I can't say that I haven't, as I used to like to see them in "good" clothes. I did find that hard at first...

I've been paying all year for a food hamper for Christmas. Its through Communities First, and last year it was excellent - hope it is this year! I have four tins of chocolate - I could wrap them - one each! I can't worry about it though.

Ah yes... the kitchen tele. Looks like I'll be without a tele in here. I think it's the 12th we go digital.

Hope you had a nice cup of coffee with your neighbours. I'm sure they're glad you're there.

Neighbours tv done. Came back and went to re-tune little portable one in bedroom. The digi box is about 7 years old, and it doesn't work  My day is getting better and better.
I picked up some maltesers last week, and some choc finger biscuits this week. Have hidden them for xmas. Will get back to my workings out again. I don't want to resort to using the catalogue, but might have to. I guess i'm lucky as my son doesn't eat much in the way of chocs or sweets, but I do like to have some around in case of visitors. No point getting stressed about it, nothing can be done if we haven't got it eh? I do find I get very down at this time of year. We all want to give our kids what they want, but this isn't always possible of course.
