Well if Legal Aid won't pay it then they won't pay it. Ask your doctor if you can have them anyway....without paying, or paying less? And I do think you neede to think about consulting a new solicitor, who inspires you with confidence.
im not sure if its to far on for another solicitor and dont knoew if i can change evn , yea im gona speak to doctor again cos this is crucial evidence x
Hi anonymousmum i'm with Louise on this, you would think that the solicitors would want all the evidence they can get, drop a line to our legal expert asking if you are able to change solicitors at this stage of proceedings.
i got them my self in the end will prob have to pick them up tommorow , it cost me 10 pounds thought it was going to cost 50, am getting worried that contact may be issued in 6 weeks if they dont beleive me and believe him , it will have such a huge impact on all of us :( x
No-one can predict the outcome, not even the solicitor, but this time is to gather what evidence you can. I know it is mega-stressful so do look after yourself.
well court next friday again, hope its last hearing,i want to move on with my life,i cant with court every 3 months, ex isnt interested in contact othwerwise why is he stil commiting crimes last nov, is tht man who is serious bout wantin see my little girl,no,why av judghe giv him another chance to av drug test,knowin he used hair dye and delayed it for 5 half monthts,its obvious why he did that,my soliicter asnt heard bk from the authorities from abroad over the assault ex did on me, ope he doesnt get any contact at all,report due from cafcass soon

and now a message from cafcass askin to cum mine for a visit to see me and my daughter, im worried now, they av binn once months ago, now im worried wonderin why cafcass want to cum again to see me and my dawter, why wud they want to cum again
i mean do they think my dawter not bein looked after, and its a different cafcass officer, god feel sick

Hi kiera, you are obviously very worried about CAFCASS contacting you again and asking for a visit. It won't be because they think you aren't looking after your daughter well, that is not their job. Their job is to ensure that your childs best interests are taken into account during the court process.
As we have said to other people on here, it is important that you only raise issues with your ex, that affects your daughters wellbeing. ie Your concerns for her safety etc

did you ask them why they have to visit again as you have had a visit and reports have already been made , ask them keira just say its making you a bit anxious they understand this is difficult for us im sure x

i can understand why your worried to ring back , just askin why they need to visit again and why a differant caffcass officer has been allocated is fine , they really should of told you why anyway , your due back in court next week so its understandable to want to know why another visit has been arranged , at short notice , and it will ease your mind hun x
my caffcass officer was fine about me ringing him and i rang him on a few occasions, mayby ring your old one and ask why x

my hearin last feb was meant b last hearing but was adjourned cos of ex drug test,he as to do another one, wot wil appen on ur hearingx
yes last 3 reports av recomended no contact at all so far,and cafacss av asked to see my dawter as well,last year cafacss didnt ask to see my dawter, jsut tht she apened to b in same room, so put in report she very chatty and can see she happy child, bin a year and now cafacss want see er, and spk to me,cant elp bein worried,
may by they just want to update if its been a year make sure your wishes and feelings are the same , my hearing will be the last one to , i think, we will both be cross examined and the judge will decide who is telling the truth and then if he is found to be leing caffcass have recomended no contact, if i am found to be leing then supervised contact , i just hope they believe me x
i have to do whats called a scotts paper with all my accusations on it then he responds and then judge writes wetehr he think it happend or not, my daughter is also gona give evidence , my 19 yr , but she wasnt around much when i was preg x

Kiera, I agree with anonymous mum, because your court case has dragged on, CAFCASS have to have had recent contact that's all.
Anonymous mum, Scott's report, sounds complicated but at least you are getting the chance to enumerate all your concerns, which is great.

i havnyt been doctors about way im feeling but feel i should of cos of how its affecting me to, my solicitor deosnt even know if its gona be judge or magistrates surely a jugde should be dealing with this, i have no residancy order or molestation order x
hi well i av bin doctors once and he gave me anxiety tablets, i took um 3 weeks then stopped, felt to funny on um, but im gona go bk my doctors, tell my solicter who wil mention the effect court is avin on me, well i av got residency of my dawter, for er safty cafcass words, and i av non mol order on ex, but think it runs out soon, mayb u shud go doctors hun and tell ur soliciter,tell him or er the effect court is avin on u, court are also lookin at effect it wud av on me if ex did av contact, i never want see him againx
It would be good just to go and chat with your gp about how your feeling they can tell you about what options are available to you anonymousmum, as for who will be hearing your case, i think it depends on all the details of the case to who picks it up.
Keira some anxiety medications can have that effect there are others you can try that might not have the same effect.
I know that you don't want to see your ex again keira and are hoping that he does not get contact, i just wondered how you think it would effect you if he did get some sort of contact?
You have court in just over a week and though we are all hoping for a postive outcome and that this will be the end, it might help to think ahead to what you can do if it does not go how you had hoped, the hearing could be delayed, how is that going to make you feel? what can you do to help alleviate those feeling?
Or your ex could get some sort of contact, what impact is that going to have?, what else can you do?, where can you go for support? I have found thinking about situations in this way has helped me to not be so fearful, be somewhat calmer, and plan for all eventualities so that i can feel more in control of the situation.
Hopefully though it will all work out how you are hoping.
hi sally thank u for reply, i block out wot if he gets contact, im down today, and seein my doctor at 1.20, anxiety and cryin is now goin on with build up to court, see wot he says, mayb he writ e letter for me for my soliciter sayin the effect court is avin on me, as it is dragin on, due to my ex delayion drug test, im gona tell cafacss tht when he cums tuesday,asnt my ex put me thru enuff eh, he doesnt want contact, he wants contro and to make my life amisery, thts the truth, and wot mum wud want man like tht round their dawter, hes a violent crimianl, he deals drugs, last 2 raids av proved tht, he let my little girl down when we was together and me all time, he aint gona change, this court case is makin me ill, plus dealin with my son who now as epilepsy, my dad isnt well again, getin to much for me

solicitor has said i cant have a barrister and it may not be a judge may be magitrates??? , i also found some evidence my self from dv group who have don me supporting letter , midwife who is goin to do one and doctors have alot to of when i was going in to see them distressed and they alerrted safeguarding team , the doctor said this will be strong evidence in my case , so i spoke to solicitor to try an request the medical records as its 50 pound and she said NO, SHE SAID THE COURTS HAVNT ASKED FOR IT SO LEGAL AID WONT JUSTIFY IT!!! this is strong eveidence and i cant afford th 50 pounds :(((
