hello
Have a nice time Sy!
or should I say, hope you had a nice time, by the time you read this.
I have pains in places I did not know I had from yesterdays gym.
Pansy x
Glad you went to badminton Sy. A few weeks and you'll be into your game again.
Good for you going to the gym pansy. I admire you.
Sparkling!
how are you! Oh we have missed you.
I have not got internet connection for 5-7 days, so scrounge connection when I can.
Met badminton boss last night, he a coach and give me 2 tips. Very nice of him.
Big druunken slobbery kiss for you (I'm doing kissing this week instead of hugs)
Long lingering smooch on the forehead (I'm taller than you)
And a peck on the cheek (face cheek)
Talking of cheeks, I've damaged my right buttock muscle and now have a limp.
We could limp together now! Sychronised. Also ripped my shoulder trying to power the shot not using wrist. Duh. No ladies for me though at badminton :(
Now, was it the test thing that sent you away, are you able to talk about it?
Hope you are OK today Sparkling.
love
sy
OK redundancy meeting in 5 mins.
Haven't bothered to prepare, Maria too busy to accompany me.
CCJs, they not end of the world are they?
sy
Hello guys
How are you today Pansy? i hope you will have a better day today. It sure is tough coping with stuff like that on your own.
Sparkling, HELLO!!! (waves madly and enthusiastically :D )
Sy Glad you went to Badminton last night, it WILL get less painful as you go more often. Don't worry about the lack of ladies, the first thing is to pal up with a few chaps and then eventually one of them will have a party and who knows who you might meet? heh heh
CCJs, they will affect your credit rating, they are a judgement that a debt is due and if you get one against you, you must reply to the court and make arrangements to pay the amount, either in a lump sum or in instalments. Good luck with your meeting
Good morning all, good luck with meeting sadsy. Pansy I hope you are feeling better. Sparklinglime, great to see you.
Has anyone said hello to squeak yet on the other post??
Hi,
yes I said hello to Squeak.
Though when I do they never come back!
One night I was only one on saying hello to newcomers.
I'm calling it "Lemming Sunday" as none returned.
ashamed :(
sy
Sometimes new members say hello and they don't feel comfortable about posting other things. If anyone reading this is in that category, then please DO post, we welcome all contributors and the more the merrier!
oh no, I cant find squeaks thread anywhere!
I had seen it one time & thought I would reply later, then couldn't see it again & still cant!
I get really lost on here sometimes, I didn't see Sparklings for two days about exam.
sorry, may find it later.
Pansy
Pansy,
I have found it, it's called "Hello".
Like a parallel universe :!:
kiss on the nose.
sy
Just thought I would tell you something I done that I am proud of, actually two things.
Firstly, when ex had gone back, I deleted all the texts which I had kept from the day he walked out, all his & the nasty ones from her.
But even better is what I done yesterday! I cant believe I done it because the thought of having to do it killed me last week!
I TOOK MY WEDDING RING OFF! however, I am still wearing it & have just transfered it to other hand BUT may well take it off completly soon.
So that's it. I have faced the fact that actually I was a very unhappy person that spent all my time trying to survive life & even though he was here, he wasn't, I was alone. Ok he said the right things sometimes but he didn't know me like he should have because there was to much going on that was all about him.
No wonder I am feeling desperate to be loved! I have had no life for years, I feel like I have been in an emotional prison for years unable to see & feel the world around me properly.
Life is easier without him & I dont want him back.
Pansy
MAN is coming to my house today! to fix my doors  maybe he be dishy :o
Oh Pansy, what a revelation you are going through at the moment. Big step with the wedding ring......I ended up selling mine for scrap :? wish I had kept it now that the price of gold has rocketed
No wonder you are proud of yourself with the two things you have done. I am proud of you too! :D
thank you Louise, yes it was a big thing to do, I think I am going to take it off totally today!
I am left with a ring band mark still on my finger!
Door man no good, to old & wrinkly!
I thought of film I am going to watch tonight, GHOST. I love that film! actually it is good old Whoopi Goldberg that makes that film fab, although the story is so lovely too! And the pottery wheel bit! sigh
Pansy x
Door man gone, took him 3.5 hr to replace door. It was the toilet door! we were all bursting by the time he went!
Feeding the kids & their friends, then off out to get my Friday/sat bottle of wine to have with film GHOST tonight.
he! he!
Pansy - well done with the wedding ring!! Its such a big symbolic action - you win the award for bravest move of the day I think! I can't pretend to compete at the moment, just plodding on, eating biscuits
Bec
Got my wine, got two bottles  like the hardys crest & it is on at half price again at the moment, so I brought two, he! he! I refuse to buy it when it is 9.99 a bottle though!
I am waiting for our Sy to come & give me one last kiss :P
please say he has not deserted me too! (please note this has been edited, as to my horror I ended up with wrong smilie in place for 2 hrs! until I spoted it! am having problems with things jumping around latley on pc)
I havn't even had a glass yet!
Now be serious again. I hope you have had a ok day Sy. I remember you have alot to do, tidy house, sort out Arwens birthday, see estate agent.....ummm....Dr, thats it! crickey did you fit work into all that too?
thank you Bec :D
I am now taking it off totally! there gone now!
I am also drinking wine on empty tummy & trying to flirt with Sy who is not here
I must add, have only so far had one mouthful & now about to eat small meal.
ended up with nice cup of tea watching GHOST! didn't want wine in the end. Why is it when you have not got any, you want some & when you go & buy two bottles you suddenly dont want it at all!
About time I went to bed.
goodnight
Pansy
Oh well Pansy, at least you have the wine there and you got a BARGAIN!!!!! Did you enjoy the film? It is a while since I saw that one.
I know what you mean about the smilies. It is because as you type you can't see the litle face appear, only when you have submitted the whole message.
What does the weekend hold for you? I have eldest son's girlfriend coming to tea and to meet us for the first time    I bet it is much worse for her than for us in terms of nerves, although judging by the boys' behaviour when I cooked a roast dinner last Sunday (when wind seemd to escape from their every orifice :o ) I do hope that they will both behave.
Louise, I am devastated about that smilie! If Sy had of read it, he would have been rightly upset because of how it happened to read. Do hope he is ok!
I am actually having a computer nightmare at the moment! The one I use has lost it's connection because of a virus & other things that wrong with it. This is my sons laptop I have been using latley, but is also playing up. I only have to run over something with the mouse arrow & it takes me there without me clicking on it, which is how the smilie thing happened!
& when I am writing I suddenly look up to find that I am now typing into a previous sentence ! & thats only two things! there are lots more, I will have to phone them up. I am going to try & sort at least my sons out this weekend otherwise could end up with neither working!
I also have to sort my car out to sell & transfer my insurance to the run around I brought for now.
oh , I HATE SORTING OUT ANYTHING TO DO WITH COMPUTERS OR CARS! :x
P.s goodluck at controlling your sons during dinner, they are bound to let on off, boys!!

Good luck with the computer, though!
Good luck with the girlfriend, Louise. I hope it goes well.
Glad you got the doors done!
Hope Sy is having a great time with the children
Happy Birthday Arwen. Hope you're having a lovely time.
Pansy, I hate cars too. Fast going off computers too...
thank you Sparkling!
hope you are OK. Can't check posts, at nannies and I still have to drive them home and bath and bed them. It'll get late and I'll get grumpy.
Luke showing lot of stress today. He had big falling out with Louise yesterday. He have uncontrolled eye movement today. He not had that for months. Am a bit worried about it. Thought he was past that.
regards
sy
helllooooo Paaaaaannnnssssssyyy,
have missed you.
You know I usually have satyr lady dream in the morning, if I'm lucky.
Not this morning though! Guess who!.............I'm so shocked, should have known......sigh. :P
Knew that kissing week was risky.
I have not had time to read your fab posts, sorry. What's all this smilie business?
Remember, guys have as much subtlety and sensitivity as a boy cow's dingle dongle. So smiley misread would probably have passed me by. hehe.
Hope you get embarassingly smashed with wine tonight, am so envious. Louise would never drink (is this a "Jethro" moment). More maltesers go to their quick fate. Can't even get drunken post off you tonight, as I still have no internet.
Got my wine, got two bottles  like the hardys crest & it is on at half price again at the moment, so I brought two, he! he! I refuse to buy it when it is 9.99 a bottle though!
WILL YOU JUST STOP THAT WINE TAUNTING! When you've got it baby – flaunt it!
Pity this poor guy on anti-D's. Not only is undercarriage stuck on "PAUSE", but no wine too!
I know you didn't get your last kiss. I try think of something tomorrow, as I owe you one, even though kiss week is over for me.
You know you could do your own themed week? Not sure when I next on. Get lonely.
Dreamy sigh.
Yours sincerely
Mr, sy dip, BA (Hons)
Oh Sy, sorry I missed you, have only just got on here, had bit of dramatic day today. Will tell all another time though, it to do with 15 yr old & also STUPID car!!!!
I am most relieved that you have not gone into hiding bacause I upset you, but then why would you. I will explain later, I was feeling sooo bad about it last night, but really it is silly.
Upset I didn't get kiss too. sorry cant guess who you dreamt about.....was it....ET? maybe..weather girl?
Hope you have a wonderful time with your children this weekend Sy & Arwen have lovely birthday time with her amazing Daddy.
Dont stay away to long, you will be missed ;)
Pansy x
regards?
yours sincerely?
Ah yes... Formal time
YES formal time!
Just watched 'Pretty Woman' oh, I forgot how good that was!
had one to many glasses of wine tonight too!
Needed it believe me! may 'tell' later, bit delicate, as it is about my 15 yr old, who is growing up fast!!!!!
Pansy x
I watched that too. I have the dvd, so could, in theory, watch it whenever! Good film, and such good music in it too!
Teens aren't easy.
he he I watched "Pretty Woman" too, it is one of my favourites.
Pansy I am sorry you had a rough time with your 15 year old, it is very frustrating to be the parent of teenagers ( as well I know ;) ) and sometimes it is all about just getting through the day, getting through the situation, you know like when they were toddlers?
Sadsy, happy birthday to Arwen, and sorry to hear you are worried about Luke. I have suggested a bereavement link for your mum on the Introduce Yourself top thread, as requested. Formal week, eh? Does that mean special outifts too? My ballgown is at the dry cleaner's.
Hi sparkling lime, how are you doing? I will report back on girlfriend. What are you up to today? You made me smile with your description on the other thread of the gerbil sawdust on the stairs. Know what you mean. :)
I am so glad I was in good company watching pretty woman last night. I really had forgotton how much I love that film!
Sparkling I do that too, watch films on t.v that I could actually watch anytime!
and the sawdust on the stairs made me laugh too, it is a hit in this house too
Well it wasn't a rough time I had Louise, but it was a big shock
Luckily I have a reasonably sensible girl in that one, & it could have been much worst!
I went to pick her up from boyfriends house about 6pm last night, she came out to car holding hands with him & shaking he had his head hung down (does most of time anyway, very shy) & she said something awful has happened & I am not going to like it & that she was to  to tell me so she handed me her phone on which she had written it down.
so I'm thinking, OMG she is pregnant! then I'm thinking no she'd have told me if she'd had sex & yes :o that was what she WAS doing. They had both decided to have sex for the first time, used a condom & it split, I guessed straight away what they had done wrong & explained about having to hold in the teat bit so there is no air in it, she said yes that must have been what they had done wrong. They had spent the whole afternoon in the nearest big town that they had used all his money getting to, trying to find help, they had gone to clinic (shut), chemist(shut),connections(shut) & they were both in a right state.
Even I had trouble finding somewhere, I went to Asda as it was the only place open, luckily I said she was 16 because I figured they may not give it to me otherwise(the morning after pill) & I was correct! I had trouble getting it as it was, she said I cant prescribe it because you are out of area! eventually she told me I could buy it for 22 pound.
So she took it 7 hrs after event, hope it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am disapointed she didn't wait, she always told me she would never do it until she was much older, but I am so pleased that they were both at least trying to be sensible AND that they BOTH came to me & told me. They also waited for his Mum to come home & both went to tell her while I waited in the car, then she came out to see me & we went in the house to find out where the nearest chemist was.
I didn't have the other two with me luckily! so phoned up & made a story up about being a long time because of the car wheels keep locking between 2 & 4 wheel drive, as it had actually kept flashing a couple of times & I had stopped to go back & forth to get them to lock. I sent my Mum round to watch them for me, good job I did because we drove back & I stopped at Tesco near by for petrol, but when I went to go guess what? the wheels locked & I couldn't do anything with it so ended up waiting for AA. Nice man drove it round car park at top speed, swinging it round corners & the reversing, he got it to lock & we finally went home.
so you see I really needed my wine last night!
Pansy
Yes, you needed the wine...
I'm so glad she told you.
I'm so glad you were able to sort things.
Loads and loads of hugs pansy
xxxx
Gosh pansy what a trauma! You're right though, they told you the truth and they asked for help and you were able to give it. I think that's fantastic. They were both able to tell the two parents as well, which says a lot. I understand that the sooner the pill is taken the more likely it is to be effective. Her period may well come early because she has taken it, by the way. Are you exhausted with all that emotional energy?
I am a bit exhausted with it yes. she has told me that there is no way she is doing it again & that it has put her off for life!
poor girl. I think she means it & I'm all for her not doing it again too! The good thing is I know she will speak to me about it if she decides otherwise, she does speak to me about alot of things which is good.
I watched 'what women want' today, has some very funny bits in it! but goes on a bit in places. Is about bloke (Mel Gibson) who ends up being able to read womens minds!
Hope you are all ok on onespace, it is very quiet on here!
Pansy
Full Monty is on! now, he! he! :D
omg Pansy, how does it feel for your little girl to be so grown up?? I can't imagine how embarrassed they both were but its great that they told you and let you help them sort things out. I'm sure the morning after pill will be fine, you managed to get it for her pretty quickly. Is she feeling OK? I've had it once and it made me feel a bit queasy and not quite right all month but that might have been down to worrying rather than the actual side effects of the pill. Its great that you managed to sort it out without your other children being there and finding out just what their sister had been up to! I think its so difficult for kids these days, there is so much pressure about sex, and they all think all their friends are up to it (even if they aren't) so they almost feel obliged to give it a go. At least they tried to be responsible and use a condom tho (and lets face it they are not easy to use, or is that just me that gets in a right pickle with them? ). I once saw a program about teaching sex education in schools in Holland, they handed out loads of condoms and this wooden pole, all the girls had to keep practising putting them on until they could literally do it with their eyes closed! Not sure if things should quite be that open here but I can see it would have advantages :?
Hope you are feeling OK about it today, be proud that you have such a great relationship with her that they felt they could tell you.
Take care
Bec x
I'm going to tell a funny story you have reminded me of. I heard about it when I went to one of the help courses run by the autistic society.
two teenagers with Aspergers had been shown at school how to put a condom on a banana, for anyone who may not know an Asperger trait is taking things literally, you guessed it! they actually put it on a banana  seriously this IS true the woman running the course told us all. Thankfully my daughters Aspergers is no where near as bad as that!!!!
Pansy
Sy,
do you think I dont know when you hit the hide button
 I'd have loved to see that banana!
Yes, Sy, where are you?? I'm waiting for your DIY advice ;) Hope your weekend has been nice and that you managed to have fun for Arwen's birthday.
Oh Pansy,
what a time you are having!
I think you deserve big gold star for parenting so well that your daughter is able to turn to you in an embarrassing and frightening situation. I am so amazed. You never cease to amaze me Pansy.
Condoms:practical problems - for boyfriend really
they can accidentally be put on inside-out if fumbled in dark.
as you say, take air out.
get to know your size, get a few different packs so you get to know your fav ones.
My only experience of morning after pill, is that you can feel really ill with it.
Doesn't it trigger a period and that's how it works?
Thank goodness mine two are young...
Faithfully and in confidence.
sy
Are you ok Sy? Did you have a good time with kids this weekend?
Hi all,
I have driven an hour and a half to see you guys tonight!
I have to avoid the blues tonight. Always when I take children back.
Last fortnight, I was taken by surprise when I drove away from children and found I was overtaken by wracking sobs for 10 mins on drive back. No build up or anything. Really shocked me.
OK tonight, had mum with me to keep the peace. Thank goodness.
Arwen is getting very naughty and testing my limited parenting skills. She goes on ground when she doesn't get her way and sticks her bottom in the air, like she say "talk to the bottom!" Now she fake whine too.
I got her a playmobil circus tent, which took an hour for me to put together. Luke bit put out to not get so much attention. I had big roll around on the trampoline tickling them and smiling while arwen drops knees onto my tummy (ow!). Chase them round trampoline being "tickle tiger".
I was poor parent on Saturday, I was so tired after drive. We went to an enormous maize maze, and I was stressed as children run off out of sight and we start to split up and cannot see them. I could not rescue them and it was really scorchingly hot. Was a relief to get them out.
Took 24 hours of hugging Luke to get his uncontrolled eye movement thing to go, he was so stressed when I collected him.
Ever yours
sy
Hello Pansy 8-)
do you think I dont know when you hit the hide button
I'm not hiding! I just haven't got my connection and not able to see you all.
Yours faithfully and sincerely
sy
I'd have loved to see that banana!
Nobody looks good in a condom.
Even a banana.
Ever yours in sobriety*
sy
*what does this mean?
you sound so down tonight! wish I could give you big hug.
I cant believe you drove hr & half just to come on onespace! YOUR MAD
It must be so horrible for you leaving them & having to worry about them because you dont know what is going on.
HUGE cyber hugs ((()))
Sy, cant Louise meet you half way so you dont have to do all the driving or even do one of the trips!
had to look that up in dictionary! that word is something ex knows nothing about
oh & what is a jethro moment?
Pansy's last kiss.
Stand ten yards apart. Gradually walk together, eyes stay locked on, no blinking allowed. Hold hands when you meet.
When facing, get within 1cm of lip contact. (You can blink now). Wait 20 seconds. No contact allowed. Only eyes. Should be able to feel breathing changing. Then gentlest of touch, no avoiding eyes. Little gentle touches, exploring shape of eachother lips and parting them. Then gentle kissing of top and bottom lips, to plump them up. Then 20 second break, at 1 cm distance (either can make the break to tease the other). Then begin again. Game ends when eye contact lost or kissing gets too frantic.
Phew, am going to open window! Heating is on I'm sure.
Sorry, that's all I could think of till next kissing week.
Where's that sambucca and box of swan vestas?
sy
Hi Pansy,
I have 3 special kisses ready for Sparkling, including my drunken slobbery smooch that was so cruelly rejected by moderators.
Are you OK sweetie Pansy?
Got to go to suffer pain and humiliation at badminton soon.
And fit kids call in from car in car park.
Have to go now. Will miss you.
Also miss helping people, but takes more time to read history.
Night Night.
Nibble kiss.
sy
